"Jeopardy" just can't catch a break. As we told you, new host Mike Richards has come under fire for making disparaging remarks on his podcast, "The Randumb Show." Now fans are angry because the one person that Alex Trebek actually wanted to replace him didn't even get a shot to audition. Apparently, Alex mentioned back in 2018 that he'd like to see CNN analyst Laura Coates take over his role. However, during the audition process, when they were writing down potential names on the blackboard, she didn't even get offered a guest shot – something that fans are NOT pleased about.  As for Laura, according to the New York Post she tweeted one of her favorite inspiration quotes by Alex – "Don't tell me what you believe in. I'll observe how you behave and I will make my own determination."


Blues Traveler's tour bus crashed yesterday morning in Minnesota. Luckily, the band members and their crew are okay. The accident happened while the band was driving to Rochester for their show today with JJ Grey & Mofro. No other vehicles were involved, but the band and crew were trapped inside the bus until first responders freed them from the vehicle. The band wrote on Facebook, "This morning our tour bus went off the road and crossed the median. Thankfully we are all safe and have only sustained minor injuries. Our sincere gratitude to the Winona MN, Police Department and Rescue Crew for their help getting us safely off the highway and out of oncoming traffic."

As we told you, sources say jealousy played a big role in the breakdown of Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock's marriage. Well, now a source adds that lack of trust was also a big issue.  "She could no longer trust Brandon, and she felt that Brandon was just using her for her money and lifestyle," an insider tells Us Weekly. "She had tremendous resentment toward him. She just wasn't willing to look the other way anymore."

Jason Alexander addressed the rumors that he was married to Britney Spears after court documents were revealed that showed there was a $9,150 payment on October 1, 2012, for "consultation [on] dissolution of marriage." Extra's Billy Bush texted Jason asking if the rumors were true. Jason responded, "I believe you would have known if I was married, but you would have made a perfect usher." That's not exactly a denial…

"Friday Night Lights" actress Connie Britton says her son in turning into someone different from watching to much Disney Channel. During her visit to Late Night on Wednesday, Seth Meyers asked "The White Lotus" star if her 10-year-old son, Eyob is mortified by her, and she replied, "He's not there yet, thank goodness—10 is a really cute, good age." She then added, "But here's what they don't tell you about where that mortification comes from, and the answer is, particularly during a pandemic, television. Specifically, the Disney Channel." What does she mean? Connie said, "When we're talking, he starts talking to me in these kind of quippy ways that I can tell he's now emulating Disney Channel characters. And I'm like, 'This is the beginning. This is the beginning!'" She then went on to lay the blame, stating, "Ricky, Dicky and Dawn. And Mickey Mouse! You are responsible." Read more with E! News.

Police were reportedly called to Britney Spears' home on August 10 after she called 911 to report an alleged theft that occurred there. When they got there though, she decided she didn't want to file a report concerning the missing item anymore, according to OK!

Shinichi "Sonny" Chiba has passed away at 82. The martial arts icon was known for his roles in several movies, including "Kill Bill," where he played the retired swordsman Hattori Hanzo who crafts Uma Thurman's character's iconic sword and Uncle Kamata in "Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift." Sonny's agent has confirmed that he passed away at a hospital in the Japanese city of Kimitsu after a battle with COVID turned into pneumonia. He was reportedly unvaccinated at the time of his death.

Jennifer Hudson told Vanity Fair that the disaster of a movie "Cats" isn't as bad as people think. She said, "You know what? I think it was a bit overwhelming. It's unfortunate that it was misunderstood. I think later down the line, people will see it differently. But it is something I am still very proud of and grateful to have been a part of. Yeah, I got to be Grizabella the Glamour Cat!" Hey, if she's happy, I'm happy, but just don't make me see the movie.

Britney Spears' housekeeper is accusing her of hitting her during a recent argument. The housekeeper went to the police station and reported that Monday morning, she brought one of Britney's dogs to the vet due to concerns over the dog's treatment, and when she got back Britney confronted her, and during the argument Britney slapped the housekeeper's phone out of her hands. Britney could face a misdemeanor battery charge but probably won't. At this point, Britney is said to be refusing to speak to the police.

Are Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum a thing?! The two were spotted together on Wednesday in New York City - Page Six got some pics.  At one point, Z was seen wrapping her arms around Channing as they enjoyed a bike ride. Dating rumors started flying about Channing and Zoë earlier this year, but a source insisted to E! News that she was "still single." The two met on the set of Z's directorial debut.

Prince Harry made a surprise appearance at a charity polo match on Thursday in Aspen, Colorado. While there, he announced that he will be donating $1.5 million of the proceeds from his forthcoming memoir to the charity. Harry explained, "This is one of several donations I plan to make to charitable organizations and I'm grateful to be able to give back in this way for the children and communities who gravely need it."

Alex Rodriguez has been pretty chill regarding his split from Jennifer Lopez, but all the while she's been scrubbing him from her Insta and business deals. However, just the other day A-Rod posted a pic on his Insta which has us wondering if he's poking a little fun at JLo. Alex was posing by a red Porsche, which looked just like the one he gave Jennifer for her 50th birthday in 2019. Fans noticed right away. One wrote, "Savage. Posing with the car he bought jlo for her bday lmfao." There were other cheeky comments as well, but Alex didn't say whether the car was the one he gave her or not.
