Janet Jackson's "Rhythm Nation" has been shutting off some computers, according to the New York Post. Microsoft engineer Raymond Chen explains on his blog that the song, from her 1989 album "Rhythm Nation 1814," has a frequency that is similar to some older laptop's hard drives - a phenomenon called "resonate frequency" that would cause nearby computers to shut off if they "hear" it. A work-around has since been added that resolves the issue, so go ahead and crank up your mp3 of "Rhythm Nation" without fear.

Will Smith and his son, Trey, had to fight off an intruder in the hotel where they were staying. Will posted a video on Instagram showing a giant tarantula in the room of a Holiday Inn Express where they were staying. Trey managed to capture it under a glass while Will slid it onto a piece of paper. We don't know what happened after that, but we're assuming he released it outside somewhere.

Pete Davidson won't be in much of the upcoming season of "The Kardashians." According to Page Six, even though Pete is in the trailer for the upcoming season, a source said, "He's in the background, but the reality world is not built for people like Pete."  The source added that Pete is "a very private person" and Kim "was always super respectful of that."

Congratulations to Michael Bublé and Lusiana Lopilato on their new baby girl! The couple announced via Insta on Friday the birth of their fourth child, Cielo Yoli Rose Bublé.

They've been officially a couple since October 2017 and engaged for three years, and now Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams have made it legal: they're officially married! The "Modern Family" actress and the "Bachelor in Paradise" star were married Saturday, with Sarah's "Modern Family" co-stars Nolan Gould, Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson in attendance. The wedding was originally planned for August 2020, but, you know, Covid…

It's been 36 years since "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," and now a new spin-off is in the works. Paramount Pictures is moving forward with a film called "Sam and Victor's Day Off," which will follow the two valets who take Ferris' friend Cameron's dad's Ferrari for a joy ride in the original John Hughes film. "Cobra Kai" creators Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald are behind the film. Hey, all those miles have to be explained somehow…

After their quickie wedding in Vegas, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez got married again at Ben's Georgia estate over the weekend for a second ceremony and a blowout party. The weekend was not without incident. Ben's mother fell off a dock on the property and had to be taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital after cutting her leg. We assume she was able to make it back for the ceremony. Another guest ended up in an ambulance Saturday night, though we don't know what happened to him. The guest list included Matt Damon, Jane Fonda, George Clooney, actor/director Kevin Smith, and "Clerks" star Jason Mewes among them. As for what the couple wore this time around, Jen wore a white Ralph Lauren gown with a long, flowing train and veil, with Ben in a tuxedo with a white jacket and black pants, while the guests were mostly dressed in white. One person who was reportedly absent from the big bash was Ben's brother Casey Affleck, with sources telling People he couldn't make it, "unfortunately because of family, parental obligations at home."

And you may be wondering, what was Jennifer Garner, Ben's ex, doing all the while her ex was getting married? She was spotted shopping at Sam's Club with what looked like her dad and her boyfriend, John Miller. She looked happy enough, even taking the time to take pictures with fans, which you can see at tmzcom. Not to say she wasn't invited to the wedding, because there are reports she was, but this is what she chose to do instead.

Scott Disick from "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" flipped his Lamborghini onto its side. You can see the pics at tmz.com. He luckily made it out with only minor injuries. The cause? He hit a stone mailbox, and it appears that's what caused the car to flip. The mailbox didn't survive the hit.

Though it happened six years ago, the case against the thieves who stole Kim Kardashian's jewelry is still apparently in the courts, and one of the suspects is talking. Though he has pled "not guilty" to the 2016 robbery, Yunis Abbas is talking about how it all went down. In a recent interview with Vice News, Yunis said the group tracked Kim on social media and on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," seeing the jewelry she was wearing, and waited for her to show up in Paris where they robbed her of millions in jewelry. Asked if he regretted his role in the heist, he said no, adding that Kim was basically throwing her money around and he was simply picking up what she didn't care too much about. Kim, though, has said she was scared for her life and has changed the way she behaved going forward, especially when it came to flaunting her jewelry, according to TMZ.

Thirteen weeks in, "Top Gun: Maverick" has surpassed "Avengers: Infinity War" to take 6th place on the list of biggest movies of all time with $678 million at the domestic box office. To surpass the fifth place film, "Black Panther," TGM needs to pass $700.4M. It's unlikely since it will be (following edited from original broadcast) available for home streaming on Paramount+ later this year, and for $19.99 on platforms such as Prime Video, Apple TV, YouTube, Microsoft Store, Vudu, AMC Theatres, and Xfinity starting tomorrow. However, there isn't that much at the box office in the way of competition between now and November, when the sequel to "Black Panther," "Wakanda Forever," hits theaters. So if enough fans still feel the "need for speed" as only the big screen can provide, there is a chance that "Maverick" can jet its way into the Top Five.
