Lizzo is planning to countersue the backup dancers who are taking her to court after new photos have surfaced showing the accusers having a great time at a club they say they were forced to attend. Other evidence has popped up that counters the majority of the accusations against her. But her accusers' attorney said of the most recent smiling pic, "Of course. They wanted to keep their jobs. They had bills to pay just like everyone else but they finally had enough of the abuse. We stand by every claim in the lawsuit and look forward to trial."
Simone Biles is a record breaker. Yesterday, at the 2023 U.S. Gymnastics Championships in San Jose, California, Biles won her 8th all-around championship and broke a tie with Alfred Jochim, who competed eight decades ago. Simone still hasn't said if she plans to compete in the 2024 Olympics. She just returned to competition three weeks ago.
Adele revealed during her latest "Weekends with Adele" show in Vegas that her sciatica has gotten so bad, she had to be picked "up off the floor" after collapsing backstage. She also told the crowd, "I have to waddle these days because I have really bad sciatica." Meanwhile, Adele stopped her performance of "Water under the Bridge" Saturday night to tell a security guard to stop bothering a fan. She said, "He's been bothered so much for standing up … why are you bothering him? Can you leave him alone, please?" adding, "They won't bother you again, my darling."
Kevin Costner's estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner, says the $129,000 she's getting per month isn't enough for their four children to maintain a lifestyle comparable to what they experience when they're with their dad. She wants an adjusted child support amount of $175,057 per month so they can go on vacations equivalent to those they go on with Kevin.
Bob Barker, the beloved host of "The Price Is Right" for 35 years, has passed away at the age of 99. In addition to his game show career, Bob was known for his animal rights activism. Celebrities are honoring the legacy of Bob Barker for his contributions to television and animal rights advocacy as well, including Adam Sandler who said he loved "him kicking the crap out of me" in "Happy Gilmore" and Drew Carey who shared that it's a "very sad day for the Price Is Right family and animal lovers all over the world…I will carry his memory in my heart forever."
Before his Friday show, Ed Sheeran stopped by a local Starbucks in Seattle, Washington to make the first Pumpkin Spice Lattes of the season. Over 100 fans were able to enjoy a free latte made by Ed. And of course, he had to cause chaos by writing the wrong names on the cups on purpose. Can't imagine that upset anyone, but I wouldn't bank on Starbucks offering him a part-time job.
