News spread fast yesterday that former "Bachelorette" contestant Josh Seiter died at the age of 36. A statement on his Instagram account, supposedly from his family, read, "It is with an extremely heavy heart that we share the tragic news of Joshua's unexpected passing. As all who knew him can attest, Joshua was an incredibly bright light in an increasingly dim world." Josh himself has taken to Instagram with a video letting his fans know that his account had actually been hacked.
In her "Used to Be Young" TikTok interview series, Miley Cyrus opened up about why she won't be touring anytime soon. Miley said, "What people don't really understand about touring is the show is only 90 minutes, but that's your life." She explained that intense performances require "an equal amount of recovery and rest," adding that touring can fuel her ego in a way that's hard to switch off. She also pointed out that touring can also negatively affect her connections with people and her ability to be a good songwriter.
Bob Barker's longtime rep is sharing that the bulk of Bob's estate will go to 40 charities. Among them are his United Activists for Animal Rights charity, animal rights orgs and military nonprofits. That includes the DonkeyLand Rescue in Riverside, CA, the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, as well as a bird conservatory. In the meantime, CBS will honor Bob with a special show called "The Price Is Right: A Tribute To Bob Barker," one-hour special that will air tomorrow night at 8pm and rerun on Labor Day at 11am. Drew Carey, the current host of "The Price Is Right," to host the tribute special.
Less than two weeks after her 14-year-old son, Jace, ran away from home, "Teen Mom" star Jenelle Evans had to call the police again when she couldn't find him a second time. Fortunately, Jace was found only ten minutes away from home at a nearby gas station. No word on whether he was actually trying to leave again, but he is safely back at home.
Sarah Jessica Parker adopted her character's cat from Season 2 of "And Just Like That..." SJP wrote, "His off-camera name is Lotus...adopted officially by the Parker/Broderick family in April 2023." Lotus joins two other cats the family previously adopted. The cat made its series debut when Che Diaz brought "Shoe," the on-screen name of the cat, to Carrie in Season 2.
Jessica Simpson took part in an event to benefit pets, and it seems she was the right person for it. In an interview with Extra, Jessica admitted she has eight dogs, explaining, "When Max was younger, she asked Santa for a dog, and it's happened every year for eight years, so Santa brings a dog every year." I hope Santa drops off some dog food too.
