"Shark Tank" star Robert Herjavec saved former NHL player Tom Lawson and his family when they were stranded out on Lake Joseph in Ontario, Canada. Tom and his three kids ran out of gas during a boat ride on the lake on Tuesday. Luckily, Robert happened to be jet skiing nearby when he spotted the boat drifting in the middle of the lake. They flagged him down, and he tied a rope to the boat to tow them back to their lake house with his jet ski. Robert wrote on Instagram along with a video of the rescue, "Did my good deed for the day! It's funny, the dad is a fireman and said to me he normally rescues people — so now I get to say I rescued a fireman. They were super nice, appreciative and big Shark Tank fans. See, sharks can be nice too!"
Meghan Markle shares her birthday with former President Barack Obama, but she also shares a birthday with Harry's great-grandmother, the Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth. Many royal fans decided to celebrate what would have been the Queen Mother's 121st birthday by bashing Meghan while at the same time honoring the late Queen Mother in social media posts. How dare Meghan be born on the same day?! Apparently, "#CambridgeDay" was also trending, with people posting photos of Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, as well as their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. The hashtag is also supposedly meant to celebrate the christening of the Duke of Cambridge, according to Gossip Cop, which was August 4, 1982. I didn't know people celebrated christening anniversaries – learn something new every day.

One of the women spotted on the yacht with Princess Eugenie's husband, Jack Brooksbank, has come to his defense to rest assure the whole world, nothing happened between him and any of the ladies on the boat. The Italian model/social media influencer named Erica Pelosini, the one seen in multiple pictures with her top off on the yacht after going swimming with Jack, told The Daily Mail, "I usually never go topless, but my bikini got wet and I decided to take it off. I know it does not look right for Jack and his family. I felt very bad for them when I saw the images of him surrounded by three women because his wife was not there. It led people to make improper suggestions and jump to conclusions and it's very hurtful that people are thinking this. I'm very sorry if I caused any embarrassment to Princess Eugenie and Jack. It wasn't appropriate for me to be topless." She added, "Looking at the images, I can understand how they could be misinterpreted. I'm topless, Maria is hugging him, and Rachel is also a very beautiful woman, but people are assuming the wrong things. We were there as friends and work colleagues." She also made sure to point out that "Jack was speaking about his baby and showing us pictures of him," adding, "He told us he was very sad to be away from Princess Eugenie and his son." She said, "If I lost some excess weight, it would give me a better chance for freezing eggs and having the eggs be a better quality." It sounds like despite losing the weight, she is still struggling with fertility. According to Entertainment Tonight, Rebel had said a few months ago, "To all the women out there struggling with fertility, I feel ya. The universe works in mysterious ways and sometimes it all doesn't make sense...but I hope there's light about to shine through all the dark clouds."
Congratulations are in order for Angela Bassett. She and the cast of "9-1-1" have secured pay increases ahead of Season Five. Angela's raise puts her salary among the top ones on network TV for anyone – male or female – and could be the highest ever for an actress of color on a broadcast drama series. Angela is reportedly getting more than $450,000 per episode, but she's earning it. In addition to being involved in the development of "9-1-1," which was created for her by Ryan Murphy, she's also the executive producer of both "9-1-1" and "9-1-1: Lone Star," Deadline reports.

Looks like former President Barack Obama is going to have a lot of leftover birthday cake. As I told you before, the Obamas were planning on hosting hundreds of celebrities at Martha's Vineyard for Barack's 60th birthday and they implemented every protocol they could to make it COVID safe, but the Delta variant has now made it too dangerous, especially now that the CDC says vaccinated people can spread the virus just as easily as non-vaccinated, according to TMZ. Rumor has it there were supposed to be almost 500 guests and about 200 staff.

Just a day before they were scheduled to play at Fenway Park, Fall Out Boy pulled out of Thursday's sold-out Boston concert "out of an abundance of caution" after a member of the band's team tested positive for COVID-19, according to the Boston Globe. No word on if it was Pete Wentz or one of the other guys. They're also bailing on their New York City stop as well. Green Day, Weezer, and The Interrupters still performed as planned. A post on Instagram explained, "It's important to note that everyone on the entire tour, both band and crew, are fully vaccinated. Each band and their crew have operated in a bubble independently to safeguard everyone as much as possible at each show and in between shows." It's disappointing for Fall Out Boy fans since the show was originally scheduled for August 27th of last year and had to rescheduled because of the pandemic.
