In a new interview with Fast Company magazine promoting his mental health initiative BetterUp, Prince Harry says that the rise in resignations throughout the pandemic “aren’t all bad.” In fact, he thinks that quitting your job can be a good thing, especially for those stuck in jobs that “didn’t bring them joy.” He should know - he’s been thriving since quitting his job as a senior member of the British Royal family earlier this year. According to Harry, “Many people around the world have been stuck in jobs that didn’t bring them joy, and now they’re putting their mental health and happiness first. This is something to be celebrated.” If we could all afford to do so, I'm sure he would - it's not as much of a "choice" as he makes it seem.
BTS is taking another break, but they’re not breaking up. Their management team tweeted, "This period of rest will provide the members of BTS who have tirelessly committed themselves to their activities, a chance to get re-inspired and recharge with creative energy." They also pointed out, “It will also be the first time for them since their debut to spend the holiday season with their families.” They plan on getting back together in the Spring for an in-person concert in Seoul, and they’ll be working on some new music during their downtime. This marks BTS's first extended break since August 2019, which lasted for a month. Shortly after the announcement, each member launched their individual Instagram account, which probably had fans worried about a One Direction outcome.
According to OK, Chris Noth, who plays Mr. Big, Carrie Bradshaw's husband in the “Sex & The City” franchise, talked to The Gaurdian about the long, on-going feud between the show's stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Catrrall, and it’s clear he’s Team SJP. He said of Kim, “I have to tell you, I have absolutely no idea what her thinking is, or her emotions. I do know that I’m very close with SJ and [Kim’s] descriptions of her don’t even come close." He added, "I liked her, I thought she was marvelous in the show and some people move on for their own reasons. I don’t know what hers were." Chris, who has a role in the HBO reboot, defended Sarah, saying, “I just don’t like to see anyone talking down about SJ because she’s a target and people can be nasty. I feel very protective of her and I was not happy about that. That’s all I’ll say about that.”
Ye has three reasons to get back with Kim Kardashian. He calls them “The Holy Trinity.” He doesn’t think any other woman will put up with him, he also doesn’t want to split for his kids’ sake, and he doesn’t want a divorce because of his religious beliefs. Side note, he thinks she’s a good look for him. But, as of right now, Kim is still going forward with the divorce, according to Page Six. Pretty sure those reasons just aren’t good enough for her.

During Adele’s appearance with YouTube beauty vlogger NikkieTutorials, Adele admitted she doesn’t have the password to her own Instagram account and doesn’t do the posting. At one point she did, but that privilege was taken away. She said, “I was never allowed my passwords for my socials before,” but her team relaxed that rule during the pandemic. Unfortunately, it took just one pic for her to lose her password again. She said, “It’s the only picture I ever posted myself, then they took my password away from me again.” She didn’t say which pic, but everyone is assuming it’s the one where she was accused of cultural appropriation after wearing her hair in Bantu knots at the Notting Hill Carnival.
Singer Aaron Carter is back with fiancée, Melanie Martin, after they two got into a huge fight this past weekend and Child Protective Services was called for their newborn. It turns out, the fight was over Melanie getting in touch with Aaron’s sister, Angel, who he doesn’t speak with. He didn’t like her going behind his back like that so that caused the temporarily split. He also thought she was working with his family to get him under a conservatorship.
As for why CPS was called, Aaron's fans did that after feeling Melanie was handling their newborn too roughly, as you can see in the video at tmz.com.
Vanessa Bryant has explained why she has PTSD over the photos that were taken at the helicopter crash site of the remains of Kobe and Gianna Bryant. She said after she found out there were no survivors, she actually asked Sheriff Alex Villanueva specifically to secure the crash site and not allow anyone to take photographs, according to TMZ. A month later, she found out Sheriff's deputies and firefighters were sharing photos taken of Kobe and Gianna's remains, and she was beyond upset they would end up online. Even though the county told her all the photos had been deleted, Vanessa said she’s already seen one photo and “since viewing the photo, I've been tormented with thoughts of who took it and whether it depicts my husband." Her big worry is that her daughters will eventually come across one of those photos online, and "For the rest of my life, one of two things will happen: either close-up photos of my husband’s and daughter’s bodies will go viral online, or I will continue to live in fear of that happening." Vanessa shared this in response to the County's motion to have the case thrown out.
Tom Brady’s wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, saved a turtle she came upon during one of her walks on the beach. She captioned a clip of the rescue, “Early this morning I was walking on the beach and Onyx started barking at a pile of ocean trash that had washed during high tide, When I came closer I saw this beautiful turtle turned upside down with a look of hopelessness and exhaustion in her eyes, her body knotted and entangled in a fishing net.” Gisele untangled the turtle and put it back in the ocean, which was no easy task – it was a really big turtle and flapped the whole way back, swimming in the air. For the record, yes, of course she looked amazing doing it.

While the People’s Choice Awards happens tonight, the nominations for The Critics Choice Awards have been announced. “Succession” ended up with eight nominations while “Mare of Easttown” and “Evil” got five each. Meanwhile, “Ted Lasso,” “Only Murders in the Building,” “This is Us,” “WandaVision, and “The Good Fight” picked up four each. HBO led the network pack with 20 nominations, ahead of Netflix’s 18. And get this – if HBO and HBO Max’s nominations had been combined, they would’ve come up with an impressive 29. Film categories will be announced next Monday. The show will air on January 9th on both The CW and TBS.
You recall the story of Wanda Dench, who was inviting her grandson to Thanksgiving but accidentally texted Jamal Hinton instead, and they became instant friends? Well, Jamal, a high school senior at that time in 2016, has spent every turkey day with Wanda and her husband, who passed from COVID in April. Now, Netflix is turning into a movie with Jamal and Wanda’s blessings.
On Friday, Lindsay Lohan's mother, Dina Lohan, was sentenced to 18 days in jail and five years probation for DUI in January 2020 after pleading guilty. She had crashed into another car in New York while under the influence and driving with a suspended license. She also didn’t stop after the accident, and the other car followed her for ten minutes until police caught up with her and arrested her. Dina will lose her license for 18 months and she has to install an ignition interlock device on her car. This isn’t the first time Dina has been arrested for DUI - in 2013, she was arrested for speeding and aggravated drunk driving. She lost her license back then too.
“Red Notice” took over a Netflix record from Sandra Bullock’s “Bird Box.” “Red Notice,” starring Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot, brought in 328.8 million viewing hours, according to Netflix, breaking the previous record held by 2018’s “Bird Box” with 282 million viewing hours. To be fair, Netflix has more subscribers now than they did three years ago, and it took three A-list celebrities to overtake Sandra. “Bird Box” held the record for three years – how long will “Red Notice” hold onto it? I’d say it’s time for a “Bird Box 2,” wouldn’t you?
