A select group of "Lord of the Rings" fans got a special surprise by Ed Sheeran recently. He popped into a tour of the Hobbiton Movie Set while on the New Zealand leg of his Mathematics Tour. Ed then broke out his guitar and serenaded the tour group with his 2013 hit from "The Hobbit" movie called "I See Fire." Ed himself is a big fan of the book and the movies, so this was probably a treat for him too.

A source said the two likely got paid out the rest of their contracts but that "It's possible they could have gotten paid slightly more to sign an NDA — and to keep the peace."

Piracy-focused research firm Muso shared the most pirated films and shows of last year, and the most pirated film of 2022 was Marvel's "Spider-Man: No Way Home." As for TV shows, HBO's "Game of Thrones" prequel "House of the Dragon" was at the top of the list, just like the original GoT was at one point. Amazon's "Lord of the Rings" adaptation "The Rings of Power," was up there as well. As for popular shows like "Stranger Things," "Ozark" and "Wednesday," which are top-streamed shows, they don't get pirated as much, more than likely because of password sharing instead of illegal streams or downloads. With the Netflix password-sharing crackdown, that might change things. See where other shows fall on the list at variety.com.
Meghan Markle's attempt to dismiss her half-sister's lawsuit against her has so far been unsuccessful. The judge has ordered Meghan to sit for a deposition, and now, Samantha is asking Meghan to turn over documents she feels will support her case, like all communications between Meghan and Oprah that reference Samantha related to the interview, RadarOnline.com reports. Meghan has said that request "violates her right to privacy." Samantha also asked for documents related to the book "Finding Freedom," to which Meghan told her she should reach out to the author for those. Samantha also wants "any and all documents which relate to, or list the attendees of your first wedding." Meghan said none of that is not relevant to the case. A judge has yet to rule on the document requests.

Pamela Anderson's private text messages over the past couple of months to her ex-husband Tommy Lee have leaked, RadarOnline.com reports. Pamela, who feels Tommy will always be the love of her life, texted Tommy telling him that their family was cute when they were married and raising their two sons, she believed the paparazzi ultimately broke them up, she still loves him, and she always thought they would be together when they were older. She also apologized for past mistakes and was sorry for hurting him. One source thinks Pam only texted him to get in between him and his current wife, Brittany, especially after Brittney posted a video mocking Pam (she denies she was mocking her). Tommy hasn't responded directly, only taking to Twitter to post a racy pic of his backside and "undercarriage," so to speak, which was promptly censored.
Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank might be following Prince Harry and Meghan to California after the birth of their second child. A source told Daily Mail that Harry and Meghan have been sending details of homes close to where they live in Montecito over to their cousins. Eugenie spent two years living in New York between 2013 and 2015, when she worked for an auction house, so this wouldn't be totally new territory for her. As long as they pay their own way while they're here (unlike Kate and Will), they're welcome to come live the dream.
