How Madonna messed up her stop in Toronto

Fans of Madonna were upset when she asked the crowd at her concert, "Are you ready, Boston?" which was a bad move considering she was in Toronto. To be fair, Madonna had just played two huge shows in Boston on January 8th and 9th before heading to Toronto for a couple shows January 11th and 12th. She apologized to the crowd saying, "Are you guys mad at me cuz I said 'Hello, Boston!'? I'm sorry....That would be like if you guys were saying, 'Hey, Lady Gaga's playing tonight!'"

Drew Barrymore thanked "Mean Girl" star Reneé Rapp for protecting her on-stage when a stalker tried to get close to her. Renee cut her arm around Drew and led her to safety off-stage as security escorted the man out. Drew thanked Renee because "she mama-beared out and protected me."

Rebel Wilson revealed that after she had made it a goal to be healthier, she lost 80 pounds, but she admitted she has gained 30 pounds back. She explained that she gained a lot of it back in June after welcoming her daughter, calling it a major "change of lifestyle." She added, "Now I can't go to the gym as often as I used to; I'm just not working out as much, so that has slowed me down," and noted that she has also been dealing with a "lack of sleep." Welcome to real-world parenting.

Ariana Grande's music video for "Yes, And?" drew inspiration from Paula Abdul's 1989 music video for "Cold Hearted," and Paula definitely approves. She shared on Instagram, "WOW! Waking up to see Ariana Grande pay homage to 'Cold Hearted' in her new music video 'yes, and?' was EVERYTHING!!! What an honor!" The two videos share plenty of similarities, including the warehouse setting where the singers and their dancers perform on scaffolding and staircases in front of entertainment execs.

The Emmys were last night, hosted by Anthony Anderson. "Succession" won Outstanding Drama while "The Bear" won Outstanding Comedy, and Elton John finally got EGOT status (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony). The Critics Choice Awards were this weekend as well, hosted by Chelsea Handler. America Ferrera was presented with the SeeHer Award at the Critics Choice Awards and delivered a powerful speech about finding representation in film as she accepted the award, but then she declared she wasn't going to read the rest of what was on the teleprompter. "Oppenheimer" took home eight film awards, while "Barbie" took home six. "Succession" and "The Bear" won big on the TV side of things. One funny moment was Ryan Gosling looking confused when "I'm Just Ken" won Best Original Song, which to be fair I'm sure everyone else did too.
