The celeb got suckered by a fake bank scam

"Watch What Happens Live" host Andy Cohen shared that he recently fell for a scam where someone pretended to call him from his bank after he clicked on a fake email. Andy had recently lost his debit card, so he thought the call was real at first. The scammers apparently set up call forwarding, so fraud alert calls got sent to them instead of Andy. He's working to get his money back, according to People, but his advice to others when they receive a fraud alert is to "just go to your bank branch" to figure out what to do.

OG "Beverly Hills 90210" star Ian Ziering was attacked by a biker gang in Los Angeles on New Year's Eve, according to TMZ. Bystanders recorded an incident in which Ian seemingly confronted a biker who was part a group weaving in and out of traffic.  Ian confirmed on Instagram that he got out to check damage to his car, and that's when the confrontation "escalated into a physical altercation, which I navigated to protect myself." Sources say Ian eventually drove away and wasn't seriously injured.


Paula Abdul is suing former "American Idol" Nigel Lythgoe for sexual assault/battery, sexual harassment, gender violence, and negligence, NME reports. Though this happened in 2001, Paula says she didn't speak out because she was worried of retaliation. She also documents an instance in 2014 and said that Nigel assaulted one of her assistants known during a taping of "So You Think You Can Dance" in 2015. Paula also claims she was paid less than her male co-judges on "American Idol" and was constantly "bullied" by production staff. Nigel said he's "shocked and saddened" by the allegations and will fight them.

"Hawkeye" star Jeremy Renner has come a long way since the snowplow accident that almost killed him last year. But, he revealed on CNN's New Year's Eve special that he's ready to get back to work. Jeremy confirmed he's set to begin filming season three of "Mayor of Kingstown" this month.

Snoop Dogg will help host the 2024 Olympics in Paris for NBC and Peacock. He will offer commentary, explore landmarks, and interview competitors during the event. Snoop said "it's going to be the most epic Olympics ever." This isn't a first for Snoop – he previously collaborated with Kevin Hart for commentary during the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

Kelly Clarkson's New Year's Eve show in Las Vegas came with a side of matrimony when she signed off on a wedding in the middle of the concert! Clarkson sidled up to a pair of men in the audience at her residency who'd said they'd been together almost 15 years and wanted to tie the knot. That's when the officiant came down and Kelly handed him the mic, letting him launch into a speedy Vegas ceremony. The moment ended with couple making it official "by the power of Kelly Clarkson's show." Is there any greater power?
