Bill Cosby's conviction has been overturned and he is free. According to TMZ, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled "it was unduly prejudicial to allow 5 women with stories similar to Andrea Constand to testify, trying to show Cosby had an M.O. for drugging women and then sexually assaulting them." On top of that, even more solid of a reason to overturn it, former D.A. Bruce Castor cut a deal with Bill Cosby that if he testified in a civil deposition he would not face trial criminally. During that deposition, Bill made incriminating statements about drugging women, which were presented at trial, thereby breaking the deal the prosecutors made with him.

Variety reports documents filed by the L.A. Superior Court Wednesday revealed the judge had decided against removing Jamie Spears as Britney Spears' sole conservator. They say the judge's decision is not in response to Britney's statement to the court via Zoom last week but rather because "the judge cannot make any ruling based on what she said as she still has yet to file a petition to terminate her conservatorship."

Former "Smallville" star Allison Mack has been sentenced to three years in prison for her involvement in Keith Raniere's NXIVM sex cult. She will also have to undergo mental health testing and complete 1,000 hours of community service. She had asked for home confinement or probation, but three years and a fine of $20,000 should be considered a gift since she was the slave "master" of the cult and basically Keith's right hand. Federal prosecutors had previously argued that her sentence should be less than the nearly two decades suggested by federal guidelines, given her "substantial assistance" in the investigation and conviction of the cult's leader, who was sentenced to 120 years in prison last October, according to radaronline.com.

Former SNL star Chris Kattan was ordered off a plane for not wearing a mask. According to TMZ, he got on the plane but was stumbling and seemed sick, other passengers reported. He appeared to have a runny nose and wasn't wearing a mask.  Flight attendants told him he needed to put on a mask, which is required for air travel anyway. He did, but he had it below his nose. After telling him to pull it up several times, they told him he needed to leave or they'd call police, so he left, but not before pulling the "Don't you know who I am" card. Hopefully he got another flight or a nice car rental.

Britney Spears spoke to a judge last week in a bid to end her father's control over her money and life, but she was denied her request. People are surprised that the court didn't remove Jamie Spears as a conservator for Britney, but he's painted his involvement as strictly financial. However, according to extratv.com, a source points out, "Even though Jamie is in charge of her finances, he still has to approve everything because everything is related to finances at the end of the day. If she wants to go to Hawaii, he has to approve that, because it costs money. If she wants to take her friends to dinner, he has to approve that, because it costs money. Jamie has the right to say no to certain things." And, also something to consider, Britney did tell the judge that Jodi Montgomery, who handles her personal care related to the conservatorship, "made me feel like my dad does. Very similar, her behavior and my dad, but just a different dynamic."

Bill Cosby had served more than 2 years of a 10-year sentence, and now he can't be retried. Considering Andrea Constand's case was the only case among the 60 allegations within a statute of limitations, he's not likely to see the inside of a criminal court again. According to Radar, three of the seven judges on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court did not believe letting Bill Cosby out of prison was the best option. They instead felt that Bill should have received a new trial with the testimony not used.

James Franco has agreed to pay $2,235,000 to settle a sexual misconduct lawsuit brought against him by his former acting students who claim he pushed them to perform in explicit sex scenes on camera. If a Los Angeles judge signs off on deal, Sarah Tither-Kaplan and Toni Gaal, who led the class-action lawsuit will get the largest portion with Sarah getting $670,500 and Toni getting $223,500, minus more than 1/3 in attorney fees. The other students in the class action will receive almost two-thirds of the remaining $1.341 million to split, with $827,000 of that going to the lawyers. Unclaimed money will be sent to the National Women's Law Center as a donation. The settlement will also all involved to drop their fraud claims against James, according to Radar.

"Hotel Rwanda" actor Don Cheadle and Bridgid Coulter got married during the COVID-19 pandemic. We found out about it on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" yesterday. When Don sent a text to guest host Wanda Sykes to let her know that he had gotten married at the beginning of the year, she thought that he and Bridgid had divorced. Basically, she didn't know that the two weren't already married. He said, "That's understandable given that we've been together 28 years before we got married. I hold you blameless." Don and Bridgid – who've been together since 1992 – share two adult daughters, Ayana and Imani.

Bill Cosby is already home, a free man…. for now. But watch out for Gloria Allred – she said, "Mr. Cosby is not home free," and he will still be deposed under oath in his Los Angeles lawsuit against her client, Judith Huff. Bill Cosby stated upon his release that he's always maintained his innocence. In the meantime, while we're sure his wife must be thrilled to have him home, his former TV wife is too. After news broke about Bill Cosby's overturned sex assault conviction, his "The Cosby Show" co-star, Phylicia Rashad, tweeted, "FINALLY!!!! A terrible wrong is being righted- a miscarriage of justice is corrected!" After getting attacked online for her comments, she tried to smooth things over, tweeting, "I fully support survivors of sexual assault coming forward. My post was in no way intended to be insensitive to their truth. Personally, I know from friends and family that such abuse has lifelong residual effects. My heartfelt wish is for healing." That was met with a whole new onslaught of comments.

Well, it's about time. Jamie Spears has responded to Britney's allegations against him claiming it's her current conservator who has made her life miserable. According to TMZ, Jamie filed legal docs claiming he has had no involvement in Britney's personal for almost 2 years, which is about as long as he "has been cut off from communicating with her." He instead blames Britney's misery on Jodi Montgomery, the current conservator, and Brit's lawyer, Sam Ingham, for appointing Jodi in the first place. Hmm….  But all the he said/she said has made no difference to the court as of yet since Britney Spears has been denied her request to remove her father, Jamie Spears, as conservator of her estate. Both Jodi and Sam have vowed to keep fighting for her.

Drake Bell is married with a baby, as seen in photos on radaronline.com. As the former "Drake & Josh" star awaits sentencing on July 12 after pleading guilty to charges relating to a minor, pics have been released showing Drake and his family at Disney. Drake even confirmed the news, tweeting, "In response to various rumors that are incorrect, I have been married for almost 3 years, and we are blessed to be the parents of a wonderful son." He added, "Thank you very much to all my fans around the world for your good wishes." Could this coming out have anything to do with a sympathy play in court?

Paramount Studios has dropped the trailer for the upcoming live-action "Clifford the Big Red Dog" movie based on the classic children's book series. It looks more like a children's horror film, from Clifford attacking a man in a giant plastic inflatable ball to swallowing (and then vomiting) a dog whole. Twitter is having a field day. Someone has also dug up a behind-the-scenes pictures revealing how "Clifford" was filmed before CGI was applied. Basically, it's two guys in a red mold in the shape of Clifford's body, which people are finding almost as terrifying as the CGI dog himself. Imagine that's your job? "What do you do for work?" "Me? I'm the butt of a giant red dog."
