New Orleans wasn't going to have fireworks this year because they didn't have the funds, but then Will Smith found out and he donated the money. Will is in NOLA right now filming "Emancipation," so when he heard they wouldn't have fireworks two years in a row, he came forward with $100,000, with some help from his company, Westbrook, according to TMZ.  New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell thanked him in a tweet. He might want to consider a nice fruit basket as well, maybe?

Miley Cyrus took the stage in Vegas for a performance on the 4th, and as she sang, "Party in the U.S.A.," she changed the lyrics to, "The taxi man turned on the radio, he turned to me and said, 'Free Britney, Free Britney!" The song originally had lyrics about Jay-Z and then Britney, but Miley said, "We love JAY-Z, but we got to free this b****. It's stressing me the f*** out!" See the video at tmz.com.  Courtney Love also paid homage to Britney with her covers series "Bruises of Love." Courtney shared a cover of "Lucky" by Britney Spears from her first album, "Oops!... I Did It Again." Courtney has been a longtime supporter of Britney.

I told you about all of Nick Cannon's new babies, but when you sit back and do the math on their births, it's mind blowing. Nick has welcomed his fourth child in six months — and his third in a month. Extra lays it all out – Nick's girlfriend, Alyssa Scott, showed off their new son, Zen Cannon, born June 23. Just before Zen's arrival, he and DJ Abby De La Rosa welcomed twins Zillon and Zion, and he has a 6-month-old named Powerful with Brittany Bell, who is also the mother of their 4-year-old, Golden. And let's not forget his twins with Mariah Carey - Monroe and Moroccan, now 10. What a family tree.

Jamie Lynn Spears claims she and her family are receiving death threats from her sister's diehard fans and is asking "can we please stop with the death threats, especially the death threats to children." In more Britney news, the New Yorker dished that the immediate members of Britney Spears' family get a paycheck from her, except for her younger sister, Jamie Lynn. That means dad Jamie, mom Lynne, and brother Brian, who is 44. Jacqueline Butcher, a friend Britney's also talked to the New Yorker about the abuse Britney has endured from her father, saying he called her a terrible mother and told her, "You're fat. Daddy's gonna get you on a diet and a trainer, and you're gonna back in shape." Read more with okmagazine.com. As for Brit's mom, she's finally speaking out – sort of. She said after the conservatorship ruling denying Britney her freedom, "I got mixed feelings about everything. I don't know what to think." Lynne also only agreed to Jamie's conservatorship because she thought it would last months, not years. Jac also painted a picture of Brit's mom being fearful of Jamie, so it's no surprise she doesn't have much to say.

Phylicia Rashad has issued a formal apology to Howard U students for her supportive tweet of Bill Cosby being released from prison. I vehemently oppose sexual violence, find no excuse for such behavior, and I know that Howard University has a zero-tolerance policy toward interpersonal violence." She also pledged to engage in active listening and participate in trainings to learn how to be a stronger ally to sexual assault survivors. Read her full apology at tmz.com. In the meantime, Bill has tweeted his support of his former TV wife, telling Variety, "Howard University you must support one's Freedom of Speech (Ms. Rashad), which is taught or supposed to be taught every day at that renowned law school, which resides on your campus." He also threw his approval behind someone else's tweet that if HU doesn't like what she has to say, they can give Bill back all the millions he's donated in the past.

The palace has confirmed that Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, is self-isolating after coming into contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19. Kate was supposed to attend events with her husband Prince William on Monday celebrating the 73rd birthday of Britain's National Health Service, but under current British rules, she has to quarantine at home for 10 days. The palace says Kate does not have any symptoms and she had received her first dose of the vaccine in May, according to msn. So now 4th of July celebrations for her, though I'm guessing hardly anyone celebrates the 4th there since it didn't end so well for them.

"Spider-Man" co-stars Tom Holland and Zendaya have been the subject of dating rumors for so long, we truthfully kind of forgot about them. But now, they've outed themselves as a couple. Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton did it – they got married this weekend in Oklahoma, and you can see her gorgeous Vera Wang dresses (she wore two) and white stiletto cowboy boots at TMZ as well as a video of what looks to be their first dance (to Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes"). Blake wore jeans, a white button down, bow tie, and a black vest (like the mullet of wedding fashion). According to the New York Post, "The Voice" host Carson Daly officiated the ceremony, but their fellow judge Adam Levine was reportedly not there. This is the second marriage for Gwen and the third for Blake.

Elizabeth Hurley's son, Damian, was recently cut out of his late father Steve Bing's trust by his grandfather Peter Bing. Peter wanted Damian and his older half-sister, Kira, cut out because they were both born out of wedlock. Damian would have received $250 million, Elizabeth told the Daily Mail. Instead the millions will be split between children of Steve's sister. Steve inherited $600 million from his family trust when he turned 18 but Peter reportedly had a will with new conditions drawn up to disinherit Damian while Elizabeth was in the delivery room giving birth, according to Radar. Steve had taken his own life, but Elizabeth claims he wanted to do right by Damien, who he didn't really have a relationship with. Steve even went to court to fight his father's changes and was able to temporarily win for his kids. However, Peter was able to reverse the decision on appeal.

Kourtney Kardashian has sparked rumors that she's getting seriously serious with boyfriend, Travis Barker. Kourtney and Travis hit up Disneyland on Sunday, where she was snapped sporting some bridal Minnie Mouse ears, complete with a veil. There's also the possibility that the bridal ears weren't Kourtney's, since she's not wearing them in any of the paparazzi snaps from the same Disney trip.
