Ed Sheeran testified in London's High Court over accusations his hit "Shape of You" contains song ideas stolen from a 2015 song called "Oh Why." During his testimony, Ed insisted he never "borrows" ideas from other artists without giving them credit, and when lawyers tried to argue that he only gives credit to his famous friends, Ed insisted he'd cleared parts of songs with "lots" of unknown artists. Ed also shared, "As I hear a beat, I hear a song and melody comes out. I write a lot of songs and if I haven't written a song within two hours, I see it as a failure," adding, "Almost all of my songs are written in under two hours." At one point one of the lawyers for the other side played Ed's song "Eraser," and said, "There's no way you wrote this in 30 minutes," to which Ed replied, "I mean, I did, so I don't know what you expect me to say." Read more with The Sun. Now, as part of the case, the prosecuting lawyers were supposed to play a clip of "Shape of You," but they mistakenly played one of Ed's unreleased track. Ed was shocked and said, "That's a song I wrote last January. How have you got that? I want to know how you got that."

Ryan Coogler, director of "Creed" and the "Black Panther" films, was mistaken for a bank robber. TMZ reports that the incident happened back in January when Ryan tried to take out $12,000 in cash from Bank of America. He was wearing sunglasses and a face mask and handed the bank teller, a pregnant Black woman, according to the Atlanta PD report, a withdrawal slip handwritten with, "I would like to withdraw $12,000 cash from my checking account. Please do the money counter somewhere else. I'd like to be discreet." But the teller thought something was up and she called police. Not only did they cuff Ryan, they detained two people waiting outside for Ryan in an SUV. According to the report, when the teller went to make the transaction on her computer, it triggered an alert, and that's when she alerted her boss, and they called 911. Ryan told TMZ, "This situation should never have happened. However, Bank of America worked with me and addressed it to my satisfaction and we have moved on."

Selma claims he then verbally berated her and the started "jumping on top of her body while she was lying prone on the sofa." He also supposedly "strangled her, throttling her and shaking her head and shoulders aggressively." Selma tried to defend herself, putting her fingers in Ronald's mouth and yes, while screaming for help from her housekeeper. He then covered her mouth with his hand and was "pushing it down into the couch," causing her to be "unable to breathe" so much so that she lost consciousness briefly. He then slapped her and pushed her on the side of her head, "causing her to fall back to the floor and begin to bleed from her nose." When Ronald finally left, Selma called police, and when they got there, she passed out while giving them her statement. He was arrested later that night, according to People.
