Jennifer Lopez is cancelling a whole bunch of her shows on her "This Is Me... Now" Tour. Seven concerts originally scheduled for August 22nd through the 30th are being cut over a logistical issue with the tour's promoter, but sources are saying it's over poor ticket sales. The canceled shows span cities like Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa, and New Orleans, with no explanation provided to ticket holders other than that they'll be getting refunds. Despite the cancelled shows, JLo recently announced additional shows in Miami, Toronto, and New York City, extending the tour's run.
Charlize Theron started a big rumor that she got married. Following up on a bit at Sunday night's Oscars where Jimmy Kimmel's sidekick, Guillermo, took center stage declaring his love for his "beautiful wife, Ms. Charlize Theron," Charlize went with it, which then led people to believe they were genuinely married. She wrote, "Oh, and I got married! Love you, honey! @iamguillermo #Guillermotilldeathdouspart #Oscars." Even yesterday, she posted about the Oscars, writing, "Made some new friends, partied with old friends, celebrated incredibly talented friends, got married. Busy week for me."
Since Season 2 of "Euphoria" aired, Sydney Sweeney has been very busy with films, and there was talk she might not come back to show, if the show itself even came back. Zendaya, the star of the show, had been busy herself, filming "Dune 2." But Sydney said during an interview with MTV when asked if she was ready to take some time off, "I go into 'Euphoria'," but when she was asked for more details, like, "Have you seen scripts?" she responded, "Maybe." So it sounds like she's not allowed to get into much detail.
Fans at Olivia Rodrigo's recent concert in concert in St. Louis Missouri got some freebies in the form of the morning-after pill and some male protection. Right by You, a text line connecting Missouri teens to out-of-state care, was at the event handing out the freebies from a table near the women's bathrooms, the Guardian reports. Needless to say, parents' feelings are mixed.
Jason Derulo had to suddenly stop right in the middle of a song at his concert because he really needed to use the bathroom. Interestingly, when he told the crowd he needed to take a quick break, they booed him. I'm pretty certain everyone in the front row appreciated him getting the relief he needed off stage and not right in front of them.
