Chris Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett-Smith's buzzed hair, saying he couldn't want to see her in the next "G.I. Jane" movie. When the camera went to Jada, she was clearly unimpressed. Jada shaves her head because she suffers from alopecia, making the joke even less appropriate. That's when Will Smith stormed the stage and smacked Chris right across the face. Will told him to keep his wife's name out of his mouth, in a few more words than that. When Will won the Oscar, his first Oscar, he apologized for his actions. The Hollywood Reporter awards columnist Scott Feinberg tweeted, "During the commercial break, Will Smith is pulled aside and comforted by Denzel Washington and Tyler Perry, who motions for him to brush it off. Will appears to wipe tears from his eyes as he sits back down with Jada, with Denzel comforting Jada and Will's rep by his side."

A family in Pittsburgh's Bellevue neighborhood met actor Tom Hanks while he was filming right across from their house. Emily Greif told 11 News that Hanks saw her outside with her son, and offered to take photos with the baby. Tom Hanks is in town filming a new movie, "A Man Called Otto," and he's had a lot of positive impromptu interactions with fans. If he ever wants to run for president, he's definitely got the shaking hands and kissing babies part locked up.

Sean Penn called on Hollywood to boycott the Academy Awards if President Volodymyr Zelensky wasn't allowed to speak. He also threatened to smelt his two Oscars in public if the Ukrainian president was snubbed by the Academy. As you know, Zelensky didn't speak, but the Academy didn't ignore the situation. Mila Kunis – a native of Ukraine – introduced Reba McEntire's performance of "Somehow You Do" and they observed a moment of silence while inviting people to donate to the cause. We'll wait to see if Sean makes good on his smelting threat.
Hayden Panettiere and her boyfriend Brian Hickerson got sucked into a fight outside the famous Sunset Strip hotel. TMZ has video of the two with their group taking an argument outside, where it got very physical. Even Hayden was throwing down in the street – it looked like she got kicked in the face. At one point though, she was trying to pull Brian off of some people. You can hear her yelling, "Brian, jail!" likely as a reminder he's on probation until 2025. By the time police got there, everyone had scattered. Rumor has it the whole thing started after the non-Hayden group left a poor tip for the waitress.
Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins died Friday at the age of 50 while the band was in Colombia for a show. Although no cause of death has been revealed, the police said in a statement, "According to versions from those who are more familiar with the situation, it could be associated to use of narcotic substances." The office of the Attorney General of Colombia later revealed that, according to a toxicology 10 substances were found in Taylor's system, including opioids, benzodiazepines, tricyclic antidepressants and THC, and that his heart weighed "at least 600 grams," double the average of 300 to 350 grams. Not long after his death was announced, tributes to Taylor came flooding in on social media from fans and celebrities, including messages from Mick Jagger, Stevie Nicks, Tommy Lee, Questlove, Conan O'Brian, Gene Simmons, Ozzy Osbourne, John Stamos, Lenny Kravitz, Miley Cyrus, Axl Rose, Ringo Starr, Travis Barker, and more.
The Berks County home in Pennsylvania where Taylor Swift spent the first 14 years of her life before her family moved to Nashville so she could pursue her music career is on the market. It's a five-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home, built in 1929, on a 0.75-acre lot with a spacious backyard and two-car garage. The property is now listed for $999,900, a price drop from an initial listing of $1,099,000 in February. It doesn't include any hidden Taylor gems as the previous owner (two owners ago) found all that stuff.
