Britney Spears has taken off to the famous and private Brando hotel in French Polynesia to get some R&R out of the public eye. Beyoncé recently stayed at Brando for $20,000 a night for her birthday during a small break from her "Renaissance" tour. Kim Kardashian also took a group of her closest friends and family members there for her 40th birthday. Britney's fans are worried yet again after she posted – then deleted – a video over the weekend where she was dancing with a bandage around her finger. She put up a new video, but after the dancing with knives incident, people are wondering how she keeps getting hurt.
In the meantime, it's reported by Page Six that Brit's dad, Jamie Spears, has been in the hospital dealing with a severe infection that put him in an infectious disease unit. Jamie was dealing with a serious infection after a knee replacement, and word is he is not doing well.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is finally speaking out after dealing with backlash over his Maui wildfire fund. Dwayne and Oprah Winfrey faced a lot of criticism when they asked people to donate money to help the victims of the Maui wildfires, even though they themselves have a combined fortune of more than $2.8 billion. To be fair, both started the fund off with $10 million from their own pockets, but many thought it tacky for the two to ask people who are living "paycheck-to-paycheck" when they're so stinkin' rich. Dwayne has responded, saying he understands that "the last thing you want to hear when you are living from paycheck to paycheck is someone asking you for money, especially when the person asking you for money already has a lot of money" and ended by saying, "I've never launched a fund before – trust me, I'm a quick study and learn my lessons fast. I totally get it and I appreciate you."
"The Nightmare Before Christmas" will be performed live for three nights with some of the original cast members returning to their roles, plus special guest appearances as well. Catherine O'Hara will reprise her "Sally" character for one of the three concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, with the role being played by Halsey the other two nights. Danny Elfman will, once again, be playing Jack Skellington.
Philadelphia Eagles star cornerback Darius Slay has a message for Taylor Swift; "Taylor, do not come to the game, 'cause it seems like you bring the energy of winning." The Eagles will have a Super Bowl rematch with the Chiefs in Philadelphia on November 20, and chances are Taylor will be there, though this one could be tough for her since she grew up an Eagles fan. Time to find out who made that split jersey for Mrs. Kelce.
