Tom Brady is getting lambasted by members of the military and supporters who are offended that he compared his football career to being in the military. Here are some of the responses to his comment courtesy of hellogiggles.com;

"My husband left for Iraq 10 days after our son was born, and came home 2 weeks before his first birthday. Brady needs to take a seat."

"Tom Brady thinks playing football is like going on military deployment. We both wear a uniform, and our marriages/relationships can be strained, but the similarities end there. He plays a game to entertain people.
We risk our lives to defend this country."

And there are some, even in the military, who support him and have said things like;

"Military deployments aren't always to a war zone. Being in the NFL limits contact with family and entails extended periods away from him.
It has had an adverse effect on his marriage. These are not the easiest things to overcome."

"The grind of the football season and the focus and dedication it requires absorbs all the player's time. This is time away from family, friends and pets. Comparing it to the sacrifice of soldiers and the similarities in the training and preparation is a good comparison in my opinion."

Britney Spears tweeted yet another nude selfie, this time taken in bed. She wrote, "I have a premiere for a movie this week 'THE LEGISLATIVE ACT OF MY P****' !!!!" Of course, some loved it, some shamed her, and some told her yes, girl, but how about on OnlyFans, so her kids wouldn't have to see it. Brit's teen boys have said they don't want anything to do with her right now because of behavior on social media like this, and her ex, Kevin Federline has said in the past that he "can't imagine how it feels to be a teenager having to go to high school" with their mother posting nude selfies. Brit's current husband, Sam Asgari, is defending Britney, saying on Instagram, "Even if there was truth to her kids being ashamed of their mothers [sic] choices and positive body image they wouldn't be the first teenagers embarrassed of their parents." Yes, but that's when your average mom drops you off at school in her bathrobe and slippers, not nudes.

Christina Aguilera has updated the video for one of her biggest songs, "Beautiful," as part of her 20th anniversary celebration of her album "Stripped." The video focuses on young people's obsession with social media and the struggles they face with their looks and body image issues due to unrealistic examples of beauty they see. The video ends with kids dropping their phones and heading outside, with a final shot on an abandoned bleeding phone with the message, "In the last 20 years, since Stripped was first released, social media has transformed our relationship with our bodies, and in turn our mental health," adding, "Research suggests that time spent on social networking sites is associated with body image issues, self-harm and disordered eating in children and teens. This needs to change."

New home owners Derek and Maria Broaddus of Westfield, New Jersey, started receiving anonymous letters from someone who called themselves "The Watcher" and knew details of their personal lives. The person was never found, and it remains a debate if the story is just urban legend. Well, after Lifetime released the 2016 movie "The Watcher" without their permission, the Broaddus family decided to sell Netflix the rights to adapt their story so they could have a "modicum of control." There was also two conditions the family had, and a suggestion: that their name wouldn't be used in the show (the onscreen family is the Brannocks), that "The Watcher" family look as little like theirs as possible (there are two kids instead of three, for example), and that they wouldn't mind it if the fictional house burned to the ground. As far as what they think about the Netflix show, we may never know because the family doesn't plan on watching it – a source said, "Seeing the trailer was stressful enough."

Olivia Wilde may have just shared her "special" salad dressing she made for Harry Styles, according to her former nanny, that set of an argument between her and Jason Sudeikis. Olivia simply posted an excerpt from Nora Ephron's memoir "Heartburn," where it details a vinaigrette made with 2Tbs Grey Poupon mustard with 2Tbs of a "good red wine vinegar" and, while whisking, mix in 6 Tbs of olive oil. Of course, Olivia might just be messing with us, but I'm certainly adding Grey Poupon to my shopping list. See it at tmz.com. Now, there's also talk that this "salad" is a recipe she's submitted to Food Network before, made with roasted salmon, zucchini and potatoes with a lemon juice-based marinade/dressing on the salmon of olive oil, dill, garlic, shallot, red pepper flakes, and smoked paprika. After it's cooked, all that goes on top of the salad with the other dressing.

Meghan Markle shared her lighter side in a Variety Magazine interview. We learned she plays "a mean game of Scrabble," is very good at "Jeopardy!," makes "a really solid Bolognese sauce," and her favorite rom-com of all time is "When Harry Met Sally." She did say though "Put Julia Roberts in anything, and I'm going to be a fan of those too." She shared that her daughter Lilibet, 1, doesn't watch much TV, but Archie, 3, gets excited about a few favorites, like "Octonauts", "Magic School Bus" and "Storybots." As for she and Harry, "I think we're like most people, where you just do endless searching until you get tired of searching, you don't watch anything!" And here we assumed she'd say her old show "Suits." She did say she has no plans to return to acting.

Anna Faris revealed the identity of the director who harassed her on set, according to RadarOnline.com. Ana said on Lena Dunham's podcast that it was the late Ivan Reitman. She said that on the set of "My Super Ex-Girlfriend," Ivan had slapped her on her behind. She explained that the behavior included more than just that, saying, "One of my hardest film experiences was with Ivan Reitman. I mean, the idea of attempting to make a comedy under this, like, reign of terror, he was a yeller. He would bring down somebody every day… and my first day, it was me."

Dick Van Dyke from "The Dick Van Dyke Show", "Mary Poppins," and "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" was spotted by the Daily Mail last week handing out money. The 96-year-old actor stopped by his favorite nonprofit organization, Malibu Community Labor Exchange, which helps match employers and those looking for work. He handed out $5 bills and took the time to chat with several workers there.

Matthew Perry admits he "nearly died" when he was just 49 years old when his colon burst from opioid overuse. He said he was in a coma for two weeks and then another five months in the hospital. He had to use a colostomy bag for nine months, according to OK. Matthew explained, "The doctors told my family that I had a 2 percent chance to live. I was put on a thing called an ECMO machine, which does all the breathing for your heart and your lungs. And that's called a Hail Mary. No one survives that." He said you can tell what kinds of substances he was abusing just by the way looked like on different episodes of "Friends." He told People, "If you gauge my weight from season to season — when I'm carrying weight, it's alcohol. When I am skinny, it's pills. When I have a goatee, it's lots of pills." His memoir "Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing" details it all and is available November 1.

Kanye West tried to talk his way out of making anti-Semitic remarks but he may have made it worse. He went on Piers Morgan's show and Piers asked him about his going "death con 3" on Jews. First off, Ye doesn't think he was being racist because he considers himself Jewish, and secondly, he only wishes that on the Jewish execs in Hollywood for mistreating black entertainers, according to TMZ. Throughout the interview he smirked and laughed while Piers chastised him for his remarks, and he even admitted what he said was racist but he doesn't regret it because he was just fighting fire with fire. In more Kanye's done wrong news, the mother of George Floyd's daughter has filed a $250 million lawsuit against Ye for his recent comments on George's death. When Ye was on the "Drink Champs" podcast, he made controversial statements about Floyd's death, saying he died as a result of fentanyl use. Hennepin County Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Andrew Baker said during his testimony that while George's heart disease and use of fentanyl were contributing factors to his death, they were not the direct cause.

Ring the bell for billionaire philanthropist MacKenzie Scott! She has donated $84.5 million to the Girl Scouts, making it - say it with me - the largest-ever single donation in the organization's history, the group said. I hope they don't stop selling cookies now! The Bloomberg Billionaires Index, a daily ranking of the 500 wealthiest people in the world, estimates MacKenzie's net worth to be $27.6 billion, making her the 41st richest person in the world. After splitting from Amazon head Jeff Bezos in 2019, she pledged to give about half of her more than $35 billion to charities.

As we told you, Mike Tindall, who is married to the King's niece, Zara, Princess Anne's daughter, is going to be on "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here," a reality survival show. It turns out, he didn't get permission from the family or the King to be on the show. Sources say Mike and Zara don't receive public money, and he'll be making almost $200,000 for his appearance on the show, according to Times of London. Can't stop a guy from making a living.  It's not like you can expect them to live of their estimated $20 million net worth forever, am I right? Otherwise, they might never be able to move off her mother's 730-acre estate and make it on their own.
