The Billboard Music Awards has released its list of nominees for the upcoming event on November 19th, and Taylor Swift leads with 20 nominations, followed by Morgan Wallen and SZA with 17 each. Taylor Swift has already won 29 Billboard Music Awards, making her the top female artist in the awards' history, while Drake leads overall with 34 wins. Drake and Taylor are up against each other in many categories right now. New categories for top Hot 100 songwriter and top Hot 100 producer are being introduced, with Taylor's collaborator Jack Antonoff among the finalists in both, but he's up against Taylor in those categories. Let's just put it this way – if you're just a squirrel trying to get a nut, you better hope you're not in the same park as Taylor Swift.
Bad Bunny name-dropped "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara in his song "Monaco," and she has responded. Bad Bunny uses the lyrics, "Sofía Vergara es linda, pero es más linda en persona," which translates to "Sofia Vergara is beautiful, but she is more beautiful in person." She responded on Instagram with "Mas lindo eres tu @badbunnypr," which translates in English to "You are cuter." Bad Bunny is currently involved with Kendall Jenner, who hasn't commented on this flirting just yet.
Britney Spears was pulled over for the second time in as many months. The first stop was for speeding and driving without a valid license or proof of insurance. This time, she was crossing the double lines and an illegal lane change according to court records. Brit was slapped with a $327 fine and sent on her way. Briney has already cleared things up and paid the fines for both traffic stops.
The screenwriter of "Hocus Pocus 3" has shared some inside info about what to expect. Jen D'Angelo, who also wrote "Hocus Pocus 2," says she wants to explore the "mother witch" character played by Hannah Waddingham's character. She is leaning towards defining the mother witch as the "mother" that Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy often refer to in the 1993 OG film. She also said "Hocus Pocus 3" is "still very much in the early stages" due to the recently-settled writers' strike.
"The Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco talked about what 6-month-old daughter Matilda's first Halloween is going to look like. She told Extra, "I bought her 10 costumes and we're going to do a fashion show. I said, 'Halloween for a 6-month old is for us not for her.'
