Is Angelina Jolie dating The Weeknd? We’re not sure, but as we’ve told you, they’ve been spotted together about three times this year. And she’s clearly not shedding anymore light on that situation. During a recent appearance on E!’s Daily Pop, Angelina was asked if her kids were more “excited” to see her new film “Eternals” or about her friendship with The Weeknd. Angelina’s reply was, “They’re very excited about this film, if that’s what you’re asking.” I don’t know why the interviewer thought he could get that out of her – it’s not like they’re two girlfriends sitting in wicker chairs on a front porch sipping lemonade and sharing secrets.
Thanks to a successful opening weekend, a “Dune” sequel is in the works. Denis Villeneuve is confirmed to direct again as Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, and other stars return. According to Warner Bros, the second installment will and in theaters on October 20th, 2023. Hopefully, Zendaya gets more screen time than she did in the first one. Without spoiling anything, fans are not happy with Z’s role in the film.

Lori Loughlin has agreed to pay the full tuition costs of two students in an attempt to make amends for her part in the college admissions scandal. She’s reportedly over $500,000 for the unnamed college students’ four-year programs and any additional expenses. An insider said that the arrangement Lori made is a private one that was in addition to what the courts ordered her to pay. Read more with US Weekly. To review, both Lori and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, served time and had to pay fines for paying $500,000 to fraudulently get their daughters into the University of Southern California. If I find out it’s her two daughters, she’s paying for, I’m not exactly going to be surprised.

Ye’s Yeezy brand has been sued by the State of California over alleged violations of the business code and for making "untrue or misleading statements" to customers. According to Radar, the state is suing Ye for "failing to ship items within thirty days and failing to provide adequate delay notices." California state business code requires products purchased online to be shipped to consumers within 30 days, and if they can’t, the merchant has to either provide a refund, send out a notice of the delay, or find another agreeable solution. They found that not only did Ye’s brand make “untrue or misleading statement regarding its ability to ship products within a certain timeframe,” but that is was particularly a problem where customers “paid an additional charge for expedited shipping." The district attorneys on the case want Ye fined "$2,500 for each violation" and pay "restitution on behalf of affected consumers."
“Rust” assistant director David Halls admitted that he didn’t check all the rounds in the gun before handing it to Alec Baldwin, which was a major breach of safety protocol. It could be argued he wouldn’t have had to since Armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed claimed that live ammo wasn’t kept on set. However, according to the Los Angeles Times, investigators said that they recovered roughly 500 rounds of ammunition from the set, a mixture of “blanks, dummy rounds, and what we are suspecting were live rounds.”
Britney Spears fans have been sending her support, but apparently, they’re also sending her scripts. This has Britney a little confused. She addressed fans on Instagram where she spoke with a British accent and said, "What's really puzzling to me is all these people are starting to send me all these scripts for my own life, but none of the scripts are even true. Aren’t I supposed to play the role in my own life?" Despite her video not making much sense, fans are excited that Britishney is back.
Issa Rae just set Reese Witherspoon off, but she probably didn’t mean to. According to Yahoo!, Issa posted, "Shout out to @Stanford for breaking their 'no filming' rule for us! ❤️🌲." This didn’t sit well with Reese since, back when she was filming “Legally Blonde,” they wanted to film there with her character as a Stamford student and were told no due to a long-standing rule in place to protect "the privacy and safety of its students, faculty and staff." Reese tried to get them to make an exception to the rule, despite the fact that she's an alumna. Reese’s reply to Issa was "This is major! Fun fact : They would not let us film Legally Blonde there. So we went to Harvard instead 🙃🤷🏼♀️🤣.” Ironically, “Legally Blonde “wasn't even filmed at Harvard - most scenes took place at USC, UCLA, or California Institute of Technology. How else were they supposed to get so many sunny days on set?

Alyssa Milano has admitted that maybe she was a big part of the problem when it came to her former “Charmed” costar Shannen Doherty leaving the show after only three seasons. Alyssa said, "I could take responsibility for a lot of our tension that we had,” explaining a lot of the tension "came from feeling that I was in competition rather than it being that sisterhood that the show was so much about. And I have some guilt about my part in that." Maybe she’s known this all along, maybe it was her bout with COVID, or maybe it’s Shannen’s stage four breast cancer that forced Alyssa to come to terms with the truth. Regardless, it sound like she’s trying to make amends. Alyssa said she reached out to Shannen every now and then, sending her DMs “every couple of months to just check in." She even says she has "respect for her," calling her a "great actress" and noting, "I just wish I could've felt strong enough in who I was to recognize that back then." Read more with okmagazine.com.
It turns out there’s only a small group of people throwing hate towards Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on Twitter, a lot less than originally thought. Twitter has been investigating coordinated hate towards the couple, and they found that 70% of hateful and negative comments about them was coming from just about 83 accounts. It turns out, also, that there are actual people behind the targeted harassment, not bots. Apparently, these haters know what they’re doing, tricking the algorithm to avoid bans by lumping in their hate towards Meghan and Harry with praise towards Prince William and Kate Middleton. Once Twitter identifies the accounts, they’re being suspended.
“Weird Al” Yankovic was visiting his daughter at Williams College in the Berkshires when he made a video that has gone viral, according to The Berkshire Eagle. Al posted a tweet of him crossing the street in Williamstown when he suddenly stops, frantically looks around, and waves. Apparently, he was obeying the instructions on the crosswalk, which read, “STOP. LOOK. WAVE.” As one person tweeted, “Weird Al is the only one allowed to make Dad jokes.” The video has more than 400,000 views and nearly 5,000 retweets. Not sure how his daughter feels about that – Williamstown is pretty small.
“Wheel of Fortune” almost crossed the line Wednesday when it came to Halloween fun. According to MSN, one of the puzzles under the Movie Quote category had viewers tweeting things like, “DON’T SAY HIS NAME!” Once it was clear that the puzzle was the same word listed four times in a row, contestant Jordan answered, “CANDYMAN CANDYMAN CANDYMAN CANDYMAN.” Thankfully, it was only four times and not the necessary five to conjur him. Plus, I don’t think there are any mirrors on set, but there might be a reflective surface, some of that stuff is pretty shiny.
