Netflix has renewed "The Witcher" for a fourth season, but it will have a brand-new star in the leading role. Henry Cavill, who has played Geralt of Rivia since the show debuted in 2019, is leaving the show after the third season, and the role has been recast with Liam Hemsworth. Henry seems to be leaving on a positive note and more than likely because of his busy schedule since he is returning as Superman in an upcoming Warner Bros. movie.

A source said she originally planned to have a 40-piece orchestra with a 60-singer choir. Instead, she'll have just 20 musicians, and three backup singers, with a choir of about 30. The source said the show will be "classy" and "packed with her warmth and personality."
One of the most talked-about TV series of the year has been Netflix's "Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story." In a panel Saturday, star Evan Peters said he stayed in character for almost a year, wearing weights around his arms and lifts in his shoes to get Dahmer's physicality down. He explained, "He has a very straight back. He doesn't move his arms when he walks, so I put weights on my arms to see what that felt like. I wore the character shoes with lifts in them, his jeans, his glasses, I had a cigarette in my hand at all times. Series creator Ryan Murphy talked about complaints from some of the victims' family members about never having been consulted about the show , but he said "Over the course of the three-and-a-half years…we reached out to around 20 of the victims' families and friends trying to get input... And not a single person responded to us in that process. So we relied very, very heavily on our incredible group of researchers," according to Variety.
Madonna recently posted a series of naked photos on her Instagram Story, although she used strategically placed emojis to hide her most private of private parts. In a more impressive move, she posted a pic of her face all done up like Sally from "The Nightmare Before Christmas," and it was spot on. Now those are the pics we'd rather see more of!

Adele did a fan Q&A in Los Angeles last week, and she hinted that she might be taking a mini break from her music career to go to college, according to BBC. She said, "After Vegas, I want to get a degree in English Literature," explaining, "If I hadn't made it singing, I think I would be an English Lit teacher. I definitely think I use my passion for English lit in what I do. I wish I'd gone to university and had that experience, but I will do it online with a tutor. That's my plan for 2025, just to get the qualification." Her Vegas shows will run through March 2023, a little too late for Spring semester but just enough time to squeeze in one last summer before Fall classes. I mean, why wait 'til 2025?
Matthew Perry sat down with Diane Sawyer to talk more about his memoir, "Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing," which comes out tomorrow. A few new things we learned; Matthew has been to 6,000 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, in therapy for 30 years, attended 15 rehabs, spent half his life in treatment or living houses, and detoxed 65 times. He had his first drink when he was 14 and remembers feeling like he was "in heaven." By the time he was 18, he was drinking every day. His addiction to pills started after a Jet Ski injury, when he took a pain pill and said it felt like "warm honey entering my veins." His addiction to pills got so severe, he would go to open houses just to get drugs out of strangers' medicine cabinets. When asked how people will know he's not doing well again, he said, "If I say I'm just gonna chill alone at home tonight. And part two, if I ever say I'm cured." He told the creators of "Friends" that he had a lot of trouble with women and anxiety, which made its way into the script as part of Chandler's charm.

Taylor Swift was on "The Graham Norton Show" alongside "Les Miserables" star Eddie Redmayne, and she admitted that she had auditioned for the 2012 movie adaptation of the Broadway musical. Traveling to London for the audition, Taylor said, "Basically, I was up for two roles … I had the look of Cosette and the range, vocally, of Eponine, so it was established I was there for a good time but not for a long time — I wasn't going to get the role." Even worse, she had been so excited to meet Eddie, and unfortunately, producers made her dress up in Eponine's full costume complete with rotting teeth for the screen test. She said, "They made me look like near death… When I met Eddie I didn't open my mouth to speak!," She told Eddie, "You were weeping, and I thought it was because of how I looked." Was that Taylor's way of letting Eddie know he could have had a shot with her?
