As we told you, a remake of the Whitney Houston/Kevin Costner movie "The Bodyguard" is in the works, with stars like Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson to Channing Tatum and Cardi B reportedly in consideration for the lead roles. Well, someone else has now thrown their name in for consideration. Lizzo took to TikTok to make it known she wants in, and she wants Chris Evans to play her bodyguard.

Professional female chess player Nona Gaprindashvili is suing Netflix her for defamation of her character in "The Queen's Gambit." According to Radar, the book only mentioned her in passing, but the show gave her character more, just not in a good way. They not only made her Russian (she's Georgian, and there's bad blood between Russia and Georgia), they also minimalized her accomplishements. Nona said in the final episode, the commentator said, "There's Nona Gaprindashvili, but she's the female world champion and has never faced men." Nona was incredibly angry that the show made it seem she had never beat men by that time, which was untrue. The lawsuit reads, "Netflix humiliated the one real woman trailblazer who had actually faced and defeated men on the world stage in the same era" as opposed to the fictional character who came out on top.

TMZ reports Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings will host the rest of the "Jeopardy!" shows for this season. Mayim is on hosting duty for more than half of the episodes, with Ken shooting a few weeks worth of episodes. Maybe they'll get her as a permanent host after all.

"Bachelor" star Hannah Ann Sluss is suing Proctor & Gamble, CVS Pharmacy, Target, and Walmart for selling Downy with her picture on it. She had licensed one of her modeling photos to be used on a single product from October 1, 2017, to October 1, 2019, but she says P&G kept on using it, especially after her appearance on "The Bachelor," and they've been using it on at least 6 Downy products, according to TMZ. What's really got her furious is that they're using her photo in association with their "Life Gets Stinky" campaign.

Nicki Minaj's tweet about her cousin's friend in Trinidad having an issue with his manhood after getting the COVID vaccine has gone international. Trinidad and Tobago Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh said they were looking into Nicki's statement, adding, "Unfortunately, we wasted so much time yesterday running down this false claim." Now, Nicki has claimed she was invited to The White House to speak with medical experts about the vaccine. The White House, however, has denied that she was invited. They said there was only an offer to connect on the phone to talk about it. Now, Nicki's all up in arms claiming she did not lie about being invited.

We're learning more about Johnny Depp's early years. Newly unearthed court documents from 1981 reveal there were issues between Johnny's parents, Betty Sue Depp and John Depp, who split in 1978. Johnny's mom claims that when Johnny was 15, he was "emancipated and self-supporting." But in interviews, he's painted a bit of a different picture, mainly that he started using drugs at 11, dropped out of high school at 16, and started a band in 1980 before moving to Los Angeles. The documents were uncovered by Paul Barresi, who is doing research for the upcoming Discovery + series "Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard." He says Johnny was "hardly self-sufficient" at age 17, and that there's no proof he was ever legally emancipated.

Freddie Combs from the second season of the "The X Factor" and TLC's "Ton of Love" in 2010 has died at the age of 49. TMZ reports the 49-year-old minister passed away of kidney failure on Friday surrounded by loved ones. Jessica Alba's Honest Co. is being sued by shareholders who claim the company misled them by failing to disclose so many parents stocked up on diapers and other Honest products at the beginning of the pandemic that sales in subsequent quarters plummeted, according to TMZ. About two months after the stock going public with sky high sales, Honest released a report saying they lost $20 million in the second quarter of 2021, and stock prices plummeted nearly 43%. I guess they're not so Honest after all.

Patrick Dempsey was allegedly a terror on the set of "Grey's Anatomy," according to a new book by Lynette Rice. In "How to Save a Life: The Inside Story of 'Grey's Anatomy,'" one producer called him a "terrorist" and claimed that some cast members had PTSD from working with him. Thomas Markle doesn't want to sue his daughter, Meghan, anymore over grandparent visitation rights. He said to Sunrise, "I've had offers from several lawyers – pro-bono – because we do have the right to sue to see our grandchildren. But to me that's like trying to descend into a game and using them like pawns and I won't sue to see them because I just think that's using them and it's not what I plan to do." He added, "I will wait patiently until they are ready to bring them to me. But as long as my daughter has the attitude she doesn't want me to see them, that's the way it's going to be." But then he gave his opinion on their life adding, "I would like them, all four of them, to go back to England and fulfill their duties. It's better for the children and it's better for them. By not taking back they are cheating their children. They also get much better protection in England than in Montecito. I would like to see them maybe make up with the Queen and make up with his (Harry's) father, and then we can make up.' Read more with The Daily Mail.

A new show called "The Activist," has taken a lot of heat, and it hasn't even aired yet. The show was set to pit activists against each other in a competition to win money for their cause.  Three celebrity hosts are attached to the project - Usher, Priyanka Chopra, and Julianne Hough. Well, after people came forward to trash the show for demeaning and minimalizing the real work these activists do, CBS has decided to restructure the show. They said it will now become a one-time documentary special instead of a five-episode competition series, according to Variety. They're going to scratch all footage they've shot so far and start over completely.
