Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes says that Taylor Swift has been studying up on football. He explained, "She's really interested in football, she asks a lot of great questions. She's already drawing up plays, so we might have to put one in."
A California doctor charged in connection with the overdose death of "Friends" star Matthew Perry has agreed to a plea deal. Dr. Mark Chavez, one of five defendants in the case, will plead guilty to one count of conspiring to distribute ketamine and is facing up to 10 years in prison. Of the other four defendants, two have also pled guilty, including Matthew's personal assistant, who admitted to injecting him with ketamine several times on the day he died.
Adele told her fans during the last concert in Munich, "I will not see you for an incredibly long time and I will hold you dear in my heart for that whole length of my break." She admitted, "I just need a rest." Adele still has ten concerts in Las Vegas at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from October 25 through November 23.
"The Voice" returns with a new season in just a few weeks, and it will be the last one for Reba McEntire. She announced that her third season will be her last as she moves on to other projects, including the new NBC sitcom "Happy's Place" this fall. Reba joined the show in 2023 to replace Blake Shelton, who had been with the show since its beginning. No word yet as to who will take over for her.
A Colorado middle/high school wasn't expecting a yes when they invited Selena Gomez to sing the National Anthem at their school for their home volleyball game, but it just so happened Selena was in town for the Telluride Film Festival, so she hung out with the team and their opposition on Saturday, even taking photos with the players. She posted a pic with the team on Instagram and captioned it "Couldn't help it, it's my first time in Telluride!" Bet all those kids that didn't show up to support their team are kicking themselves now.
