Ice Cube joins the Kellogg Krew Podcast Episode
What an absolute thrill it was for us on 94.7 WMAS to have the legendary Ice Cube call into the Kellogg Krew this morning! We got to chat with him right before his highly anticipated appearance at the Big E arena this Saturday.
During the interview, we made sure to give him his well-deserved props for receiving the Ice Cube Impact Award from the Basketball Hall of Fame, recognizing his amazing off-the-court contributions.
We also loved hearing him speak so proudly about his son, O'Shea Jackson Jr., making a name for himself in massive franchises like Godzilla and Star Wars, and we had a good laugh asking him what kind of career advice his kids actually give him. Of course, we couldn't resist bringing up his hilarious collaborations with Kevin Hart in the Ride Along films, as well as his iconic role as Captain Dickson in the Jump Street franchise—we even pitched the idea of 24 Jump Street! He wrapped up our chat by explaining why he actually prefers the immediate energy of performing live over acting, mostly because it means he gets to avoid all the tedious waiting around on movie sets.
