Another day, another prank! Luke Bryan and his wife Caroline Boyer Bryan have a long history of playing pranks on one another. Interestingly, the admired couple began pranking each other back in college.

Most recently, they posted their pranks online during quarantine and have kept entertaining fans ever since. During Monday’s episode of American Idol, Caroline disguised herself as a “rude stagehand.” Wearing all-black attire and a mask, she crashed the set by dusting the grand piano, letting her phone alarm go off, and snacking on a bag of chips.
With each awkward and shameless interruption, Luke along with the other judges Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, got noticeably upset. “Who is rattling the damn thing?,” Luke asked the crew. At the end of the prank, Perry removed Caroline’s hat, revealing her true identity. Luke laughed hysterically as he embraced his wife on set.
American Idol wrapped up its Season 20 auditions earlier this week. The bizarre prank took place in the middle of 27-year-old country singer Schyler Dixon’s audition. Dixon attempted to sing Maren Morris’ “My Church” before she was repeatedly interrupted.
