Matt James is not done looking for love.
"The Bachelor" star, 29, revealed that he is still pursuing a relationship with his final rose recipient Rachael Kirkconnell. The pair broke up after racially insensitive photos of Kirkconnell in college surfaced.
The pair have since been spotted together in Los Angeles and in New York City, People reported.
"I've seen Rachael a handful of times," James told the outlet while discussing his partnership with Dick's Sporting Goods for May's National Runners' Month. "I'm not pursuing any relationships right now outside of that. I said I was going to focus on my relationship with her and that means focusing on it."
James, who is currently training for a marathon, was asked if he believes Kirkconnell, 24, has been doing the work she promised to educate herself about racism.
"That's something you could talk to her about," the former Bachelor said.
He continued: "A lot of what I'm focused on right now is the work that I'm doing in the community and with the [marathon] training."
James ended all rumors that he and his best friend Tyler Cameron might be on the upcoming season of the spinoff series “Bachelor in Paradise.”
"There's a negative chance I'll be on Paradise," James said. "There is a negative chance Tyler's on there as well. I think we're good on that."
Kirkconnell has since apologized for the photos of her at an antebellum-themed party in college in 2018 and promised to “continue to learn how to be antiracist,” the outlet reported.
In February, James responded to the photos, saying, "The reality is that I’m learning about these situations in real-time, and it has been devastating and heartbreaking, to put it bluntly.”
Former "Bachelor" host Chris Harrison stepped aside amid the controversy after defending Kirkconnell, saying “I am an imperfect man, I made a mistake and I own that.”
Harrison has since left the show.
