Eagles defensive tackle Fletcher Cox was allegedly involved in a violent incident at his New Jersey home last week, according to a report from Action 6 News.
Action 6 News reporter Chad Pradelli tweeted the 911 call of the alleged burglary at Cox's home.

— Chad Pradelli (@chadpradelli) October 25, 2019According to court records, Corbyn Nyemah showed up at Cox's house looking for his ex-girlfriend. Nyemah allegedly damaged her vehicle before attempting to forcibly enter the home by throwing rocks through the front door. Court records also reveal surveillance cameras at Cox's home capturing Nyemah walking around the exterior of the property with a baseball bat and attempting to enter the garage multiple times. After Cox armed himself with a shotgun, he called police reporting a man attempting to break into his home. Nyemah then fled in his Porsche SUV.
The incident allegedly took place last Tuesday night. Nyemah was later arrested, although it is not clear when that occurred. Cox was not at Eagles' practice on Wednesday, listed as absent due to an illness.
Although Cox appears to be in no danger of being in any legal trouble, the alleged incident is yet another strange turn in what has been a wild week of off-the-field distractions for the team.
The last week has been spent discussing who on the team could have been an anonymous source in an ESPN report that was critical of quarterback Carson Wentz. Various players have had to come out publicly and deny it was them. Prior to that, the Eagles decided to release linebacker Zach Brown in an attempt to send a message to his players — on the same day head coach Doug Pederson decided to make a bold statement about how his team would beat the Dallas Cowboys.
Now, the team will have to answer questions about one of their best player's houses allegedly being attacked by an ex-boyfriend looking for his girlfriend.
The Eagles enter this Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills in desperate need of a win, not only to break a two-game losing streak, but to get back to simply talking about football — as opposed to anonymous sources and police reports.
