Finally, sports! The NFL Draft will begin tonight and the Eagles have the No. 21 overall pick in the draft.
Here is a list of who the 94WIP staff thinks the Birds will end up with on Thursday night:
Ray Didinger: Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU
Ike Reese: Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama
Jon Marks: Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU (trade up)
Angelo Cataldi: Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU
Al Morganti: Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma
Rhea Hughes: CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma (trade up)
Joe Giglio: Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU (trade back)
Joe DeCamara: Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU (trade back)
Jon Ritchie: Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma
Howard Eskin: Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU
Glen Macnow: Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma
Eliot Shorr-Parks: Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU
John Barchard: Xaiver McKinney, S, Alabama
James Seltzer: Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU
Jon Johnson: Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU
Jack Fritz: CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma (trade up)
Andrew Porter: Patrick Queen, LB, LSU
Vince Quinn: Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama
Tom Kelly: Henry Ruggs, WR, Alabama (trade up)
The consensus is Justin Jefferson, with seven selections, who seems to be the safe and logical pick at WR for the Birds with the No. 21 overall selection. While there are plenty of other predictions mixed in, including a few trades, Oklahoma linebacker Kenneth Murray is the next popular first-round prediction for the Eagles.
While the Eagles are certainly in need of a wide receiver, or two, or three, in this year's loaded WR class they could certainly wait until round two to take their first wideout.
The Eagles have eight overall picks in the 2020 NFL Draft.
