The Eagles are six point underdogs in Sunday's NFC Wildcard playoff game at the Chicago Bears with an over/under around 41. There is a positive feeling in Philadelphia and most of the fan base expects an Eagles win.
Here are the Eagles-Bears predictions from the 94WIP hosts.
Angelo Cataldi - Bears 24-14
"Tony Corrente, the worst ref in football, will screw the Eagles again."
Terrible news, Eagles fans! Tony Corrente is the ref Sunday in Chicago. Ugh! Home teams win 73 percent of his games this season. Birds are 2-8 lifetime on the road with Corrente as head official. We're screwed.
— Angelo Cataldi (@AngeloCataldi) January 2, 2019Al Morganti - Eagles 21-10
"Cody Parkey misses two field goals."
Rhea Hughes - Eagles 17-10
"Fletcher Cox."
Joe DeCamara - Eagles (no score given)
"Eagles win. Defense has improved enough and Nick Foles makes the difference."
Jon Ritchie - Eagles 20-18
"Not many offensive fireworks. Comes down to a field goal in the waning moments."
Ike Reese - Eagles 16-12
"Eagles win a defensive battle. Jake Elliott and Darren Sproles are huge on special teams. Sproles returns a punt for a touchdown and Elliott makes three field-goals."
Jon Marks - Eagles 26-24
"The legend of Nick Foles continues."
Joe Giglio - Eagles 26-23
"Eagles will ride the better QB, better coach, better offensive line, and more experienced roster to an upset win."
Howard Eskin - Eagles 20-17
"The game will come down to turnovers and the Eagles will be on the plus side."
Glen Macnow - Eagles 23-21
"Hey, going on the road in the NFL playoffs is challenging. It's not easier when you have to face a team as tough as the Bears in a stadium as unfriendly as Soldier Field. But I'll buy into these Eagles for at least another week. Winning four of the last five to make the playoffs is impressive. They're healthier now, and far more experienced than the Bears.
I'll take Nick Foles and the Birds, 23-21. Jake Elliott mises an extra point, but makes up for it by hitting a game-winning field goal."
Ray Didinger - Eagles 20-17
