The Philadelphia Eagles' first-round selection of TCU WR Jalen Reagor was a very polarizing one.

Many fans were unhappy, expecting the Eagles to take LSU WR Justin Jefferson. Another bulk of the fan base is upset at GM Howie Roseman for not trading up to acquire WR CeeDee Lamb, who went to the Dallas Cowboys of all teams.
But some who bleed green are excited about Reagor, a 21-year-old 5'11" WR with 99th-percentile explosion, incredible speed, 600-pound squat type strength, and the versatility to do many things.

Approves
Joe DeCamara: "I'm happy with the pick. Am I not thrilled with the pick? Correct. Why? Because the Eagles picked 21. I did not expect to be thrilled last night. If you did, Jon, that's your fault."
Ike Reese: "I was OK with it. Obviously, he wasn't the top receiver on my draft board that I would have taken there, but he was in the handful of players that I thought would be available who I knew they liked. It wasn't a complete surprise pick...the beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don't believe anyone had that order of receivers going, in the order in which they went off the board last night."
Jon Marks: "I actually think it was a good pick and a good pick at No. 21. He's not a No. 1 receiver...he's a weapon. He's an explosive weapon in the Eagles' offense. But he's not gonna be your high volume leading catch guy...and that's fine."

Angelo Cataldi: "Last night was horrendous. It was brutal. Felt like the Cowboys won, felt like the Redskins won too. Jalen Reagor, all I want to say about him, I hope he's good, but boy the numbers do not scream out that Howie did the right thing."
Jon Ritchie: "I am miserable. Nothing is awesome today because we just bumbled, bungled, whatever. We did everything wrong you could possibly do in picking one guy last night. We over drafted to get this guy at 21. We reached to get Jalen Reagor."
