Phillies outfielder Andrew McCutchen has a torn ACL and is out for the season, devastating news for the team and a major blow in their quest to reach the postseason.
McCutchen suffered the knee injury in the first inning of Tuesday's loss to the San Diego Padres. Jean Segura hit a pop up to second base, but slipped out of the box and didn't run out the ball. Ian Kinsler let the ball drop to get Segura at first base, creating a run down with McCutchen.
