When Shirley Dash is on her game, it's hard to find a more passionate Philadelphia sports fan. But Monty G. certainly gives her a run for her money.
That's why it's been so difficult to see him suffer from the coronavirus in recent weeks, as he had been reported in mid April to have been on a ventilator at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital for weeks and is continuing to fight off the illness. On May 3, he provided an update on Twitter saying that he was still in the hospital, and it was at that point that the support from his Philadelphia superheroes began flooding in.

Today's message came not from a current Eagle, but from an all-time great and NFL Hall of Famer.

We hope it's not long that a) Monty is healthy enough and b) sports have returned so that we can watch more videos like this one.
