For the first time in two years, Carson Wentz was left off the NFL's Top 100 list as voted on by NFL players.
In 2018, Wentz came in at No. 3 on the list but dropped all the way to No. 96 last year. This season, he has fallen completely off the list.
Five Eagles players made the list, and they will be the only Eagles in the Top 100.
As of Monday morning, the NFL had released numbers 100-70, which featured two quarterbacks, Kyler Murray (90) and Josh Allen (87).
Per the Eagles website, "The countdown will not include any more Eagles, however. The disrespect is real for players like quarterback Carson Wentz, who was No. 96 on the list last year."
Here are the Eagles' players who made the list:
Brandon Brooks (No. 98)
Jason Kelce (No. 94)
Darius Slay (No. 92)
Zach Ertz (No. 85)
Fletcher Cox (No. 73)

Darius Slay saw his ranking drop slightly from 2019, where he came in at 86, while Zach Ertz (No. 40 in 2019) and Fletcher Cox (No. 28 in 2019) saw their position drop significantly.

Wentz's fall from grace says more about how his peers view his play than anything else. His No. 3 ranking in 2018 was after his MVP-caliber season, but after two years Wentz has not returned to that form. However, the lack of recognition after a solid 2019 is head-scratching. Wentz threw for over 4,000 yards and 27 touchdowns and played in all 16 games. He delivered a team to playoff contention by winning four games with practice squad players and was knocked out of a playoff game from a cheap-shot hit. Everything in Wentz's control, he did well. NFL players clearly did not feel like it justified a top 100 ranking for Wentz. Maybe players rewarded Murray and Allen for their quality seasons early on in their careers, but to rank them ahead of Wentz considering what he did this past season seems unreasonable.
