The Phillies did not announce this but listed these moves on their transaction page on the team website. What raises concern is Tommy Hunter's name. He was rumored to have been one of the seven players that tested positive for coronavirus last week.

According to Lindsay Adler of The Athletic, teams cannot disclose whether a player is on the COVID-19 injury list without their consent.

Teams won't disclose when a player goes on COVID-IL, but doing so frees up a roster spot and a player from the satellite squad can be brought up in their place. Does this protect player privacy, or does it allow MLB to obscure the extent of an outbreak? https://t.co/3fHWJjthyJ
