NFL schedule release day is here, a day always filled with leaks, rumors and plenty of projected wins.
Yes, this year will feel slightly different, considering the cloud of uncertainty surrounding the upcoming 2020 NFL season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout this offseason the NFL has insisted they will be playing a full schedule — and it seems like they are expecting fans in the stands as well.
So who will the Eagles be playing and when?
Here are all of the latest schedule leaks and rumors:
Week 1: At the Redskins
Green Bay in December?: The Eagles seem to be heading to Green Bay in December for a Week 13 matchup next season:
According to a #LittleBirdie, here's a handful of #Packers schedule #leaks:Home vs. #Lions 9/20Home vs. #Bears 11/29 (Night)Home vs. #Eagles 12/6Home vs. #Panthers (12/19 or 12/20?)
— Marques Eversoll (@MarquesEversoll) May 7, 2020Saints in Week 14? The entire New Orleans Saints schedule has apparently leaked, and on it, the Saints come to Philadelphia for a Week 14 matchup. Other games on this leaked schedule have been confirmed by other Saints writers, so it appears the schedule is legit:

— Move The Chains (@FirstDownMarker) May 7, 2020AFC First?: Speaking on 93.7 The Fan, NFL Insider John Clayton dropped a very interesting nugget about the schedule:
.@JohnClaytonNFL tells @937theFan that the NFL schedule will be NFC vs AFC for the 1st 4 weeks of the season. Steelers play the NFC East. So 1st 4 games would be Cowboys, Eagles, Redskins, and Giants.
— Andrew Fillipponi (@ThePoniExpress) May 6, 2020For the Eagles that would mean their games against the AFC North — Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Baltimore — will potentially be coming first. One thing to consider with those matchups? The NFL is currently planning on honoring Hall of Fame inductee Harold Carmichael, among others, during a ceremony in Canton, Ohio on Friday, Sept. 18. That could entice the NFL to put the Eagles in Cleveland for Week 2.
This has since proven to be incorrect, however, considering the Eagles will be opening up their season in Washington.
