Bryce Harper made his return to Washington D.C. on Tuesday night -- and his new fans made the trip with him.
Powered by Phans of Philly and Sports Radio 94WIP, Phillies fans took over the stands behind Harper in right field in his team's 8-2 victory over the Nationals.
They arrived early. They cheered often. They chanted MVP and did their best to silence the boos that Nationals fans had ready for Harper.
"I appreciate them so much for coming down. Being the Philadelphia fans they are," Harper said. "I am getting chills."
Harper rewarded the Phillies' fans for making the trip, going 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles and three RBIs.
