It sounds like the Eagles will be without receiver DeSean Jackson for another game.
Speaking Wednesday at the NovaCare Complex, head coach Doug Pederson said that Jackson would not practice, but instead would continue to rehab the abdomen injury that has kept him on the sideline for three of the four games this season.
Although it is possible Jackson practices later in the week and plays vs. the New York Jets this Sunday, the chances of that happening feels very unlikely considering Wednesday is the more importat practice of the week. If Jackson is indeed sidelined the Eagles will once againn go into a game without their most dangerous receiver, and instead lean on Mack Hollins and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside to fill Jackson's role for another week.
The Eagles are 1-2 without Jackson, although their offense did look dominant in their win over the Green Bay Packers last Thursday, scoring 34 points and five touchdowns.
It was clear in Week 1 how special Jackson can be in the Eagles' offense as he pulled in eight catches for 154 yards and two touchdowns.
