On the same day training camp kicks off, the Eagles have made a noteable hire in their front office.
According to ESPN, the Eagles have hired Catherine Raiche as football operations coordinator. Raiche was the director of football administration for the Toronto Argonauts in the CFL for one season in 2018 before leaving for a front office position in the XFL.
The Eagles have yet to announce the hire, but have seen plenty of turnover in their front office this offseason with the departure of Joe Douglas. The team announced 14 hires/position changes in the front office back in June.
Raiche, born in Quebec and just 29-years old, got a law degree from Université de Sherbrooke. Considering she has a strong background in finances and a background in football operations, Raiche will likely be assisting in a number of different roles for the Eagles.
The hiring is noteworthy as the hire makes Raiche one of the highest ranking females in an NFL front office, proving once again that the Eagles are one of the most forward-thinking and progressive orgainizations in the league.
