With minicamp in the rearview mirror and six longs week before training camp, here is a look at where I think each player on the Eagles' 90-man roster stands heading into the offseason:

Long shots (24): Joey Alfieri, Ryan Bates, Trae Elston, Josh Hawkins, Carlton Agudosi, Tyreek Burwell, Anthony Fabiano, Jeremiah McKinnon, Braxton Miller, Donnel Pumphrey, Alex Singleton, Will Tye, Greg Ward, Nate Herbig, Cody Kessler, Jay Liggins, Sue Opeta, Keegan Render, Devin Ross, Anthony Rush, DeAndre Thompkins, Casey Tucker, Kevin Wilkins, Godwin Igwebuike

Analysis: It is going to be very hard for players that enter camp as long shots to make the roster this year. The Eagles’ roster is very deep and very talented, filled with veteran players who are essentially guaranteed spots. The only real positions where training-camp heroes have a chance to shock the world at is linebacker, offensive line and defensive line — or receiver if the team decides to keep six.

On the bubble (22): Josh Adams, T.J. Edwards, Nate Gerry, Shelton Gibson, Daeshon Hall, Deiondre’ Hall, Bruce Hector, Treyvon Hester, Boston Scott, Mack Hollins, Joshua Perkins, Josh Sweat, Paul Worrilow, Joe Ostman, Andrew Sendejo, Wendell Smallwood, Corey Clement, Hassan Ridgeway, Tre Sullivan, Clayton Thorson, Charles Johnson, Marken Michel

Analysis: The battles between the players on the bubble — players who have a chance to make the roster, but still have something to prove — should be fierce. By my count there are around nine spots up for grabs between the 22 players I have on the bubble. Players like Smallwood, Adams and Scott could be fighting for one spot. The same is true at receiver after Johnson and Michel both turned in strong showings during OTAs and minicamp. Defensive line is also going to be interesting, with Shareef Miller a lock to make the team, but Joe Ostman’s stock rising this offseason.
Of all the players on this list, Sweat, Sendejo, Gerry and Clement are likely closest to being a lock. They will make the team if they have good camps, but each have something to prove. Thorson could also be a lock if the team has already decided they don’t want to risk him to waivers. If you think those players will make the team, the number of available spot goes from 44 to 49, meaning the other 17 players on this list are battle for three spots.
No matter how you slice it, or project it, good players are going to be cut from the Eagles roster — and they should be able to trade some of them for picks.

Locks (44): Nelson Agholor, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, Nigel Bradham, Brandon Brooks, Zach Brown, Blake Countess, Fletcher Cox, Vinny Curry, Ronald Darby, Andre Dillard, Rasul Douglas, Jake Elliott, Zach Ertz, L.J. Fort, Dallas Goedert, Brandon Graham, Kamu Grugier-Hill, Jordan Howard, DeSean Jackson, Malik Jackson, Alshon Jeffery, Timmy Jernigan, Malcolm Jenkins, Lane Johnson, Cameron Johnston, Sidney Jones, Jason Kelce, Cre’Von LeBlanc, Rick Lovato , Avonte Maddox, Shareef Miller, Jason Peters, Matt Pryor, Miles Sanders, Isaac Seumalo, Nate Sudfeld, Richard Rodgers, Halapoulivaati Vaitai, Derek Barnett, Jordan Mailata, Rodney McLeod, Jalen Mills, Carson Wentz

Analysis: It would be shocking if any of these players aren’t on the roster next season, and although new players will be added, these players will have the biggest impact on how the 2019 season plays out. Having 44 locks this early on in the offseason is unusually high compared to last year, a sign of just how veteran-heavy this team is.
