Marks & Reese Show got heated today over the G.O.A.T. of Broad Street. After Ike called out Spike for saying Nick Foles was the G.O.A.T., Spike had to come on the air and defend his Super Bowl MVP.
"Without this one guy, we don't have [the Super Bowl>. Not only does Nick Foles have a statue from us, but Chris Long had a shrine in his locker," Spike said. "What other player in our lives has had a shrine in the locker room for another player?"
Ike could not believe his ears.
"The only reason he is in the conversation is because of this game," Ike said. "There is a difference between having a feat that he was able to complete versus saying I got a chance to watch greatest for a decade plus. He's not that. He's not in a class with Brian Dawkins, Allen Iverson, Dr. J, Reggie White, Bobby Clarke, Mike Schmidt, etc."
This wasn't enough though. Ike had to bring in back-up, and Howard (Eskin) from Delco joined the conversation. He accused Spike of being a dope and millennial off the bat.
