Happy 1-year Anniversary, Bryce Harper

February 28th, 2019: The day the Phillies got their guy. 

It has been exactly one year since Bryce Harper agreed to a 13-year deal to come to Philadelphia, a move that was rumored to be happening for months but was still amazing to see actually take place. 

It wasn’t the San Francisco Giants. It wasn’t the Los Angeles Dodgers. It was the Phillies. 

And what a year it has been since Harper arrived. 

Although the team didn’t reach the high expectations they had, Harper had a very good first season with his new team, hitting 35 home runs, knocking in 114 runs and finishing with an OPS of .882.
