Bryce Harper will seemingly and hopefully become a Philadelphia Phillie very, very, very soon. And his contract will likely be a long-term one.
So that means one thing: He's going to have to deal with The King, Howard Eskin, for awhile.

Spike Eskin, Howard's son and the 94WIP program director, joined the DeCamara & Ritchie show on Friday and explained how Harper should deal with his father.
"Bryce, I get it," Spike Eskin said. "No one gets it. No one in the world gets it more than me, that you would be apprehensive to committing to ten years of spending your life with Howard Eskin. I'm 42 years in and I'm a broken man. But here's what I'd say, here's my piece of advice. I want you to call Andy Reid, I want you to call Joe Banner. More recently, I want you to call Gabe Kapler, Matt Klentak. Call Ruben Amaro. There's one very, very — call Elton Brand. There's a secret to solving the riddle of Howard Eskin: Remember his name and talk to him. It's over! You win, everyone! Talk to Howie and Doug, anyone.

"So just Bryce, come here and say, 'Howard I've heard about you.' It's done! All of this stuff will go away."
That's some brilliant advice.
