With 6:59 to go in the first quarter of Carson Wentz's first ever playoff game Sunday against the Seahawks, the Eagles' quarterback took a vicious hit from Seattle defensive end Jadeveon Clowney. The Eagles went on to lose the game 17-9 without their franchise QB, but the internet is ablaze over the hit.
Jason Peters, a friend of Clowney's, called the hit dirty.
Zach Ertz called the hit late.
Dan Orlovsky and Danny Kanell are arguing over if Wentz is injury prone or not.
Chris Long went after Kannell, as well.
Seth Joyner is INTERNET YELLING.
Even Skip Bayless didn't understand.
Michele Tafoya interviewed Clowney after the game, but did not ask him about his hit on Wentz and the internet noticed.
As for Clowney, he called Philly fans the "worst in the world" after the game.
