After ten successful seasons in the NFL, 33-year-old linebacker Connor Barwin is officially retired from the NFL.
The former Eagle is now focused on building parks and helping the Philadelphia community through his Make The World Better foundation.
But Barwin, who joined the 94WIP Morning Show on Wednesday in-studio, admitted now that he's not playing he hears all of the takes and he can't believe the criticism of Carson Wentz.
"The criticism of Carson every single week has been unbelievable and I'll just say—this is not being a homer or being biased—I am one hundred percent all in on Carson and his skills," Barwin explained. "I played with him his rookie year, I watched what he did the year they won the Super Bowl, I've watched him this year. I mean the guy is a special talent. The throws he can make and what he can do with his feet, as a defender that's hard to deal with. And then, let alone kind of his competiveness and his drive to win that I've seen is something that the Eagles' organization and this city—it's a great situation to be for the next decade with him being the quarterback."
