ESPN recently suggested that Jaguars quarterback Nick Foles is a candidate to be traded, immediately prompting Eagles fans to wonder if a return would make sense.
Former QB turned NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky believes that would be the "last thing Howie Roseman should do."
"Why would you not want to bring back a high character productive quarterback, (who gets along) with Carson Wentz?" ESPN's Mike Tannenbaum asked on Tuesday's episode of Get Up.
"Let me list out the reasons why," Orlovsky screamed. "Number one, you would undermine all the credibility and confidence that Carson Wentz built in that organization and locker room last year. Number two, you already have a daggone statue for the guy that overshadows everything. Number three, how about instead of paying him that money you go pay a wide receiver, since you had you playing wide receiver for them last year or go pay a defensive back. The worst thing the Eagles could do would go, 'Hey, let's go bring Nick Foles back.'

— SPORTSRADIO 94WIP (@SportsRadioWIP) March 3, 2020Tannenbaum countered with the idea that Wentz has constantly dealt with injuries throughout his career and is not consistently healthy.
"Carson Wentz started 16 games last year and took them to playoffs with no one," Orlovsky replied.
But why wouldn't you want to bring in a backup who fits in well with the program, Tannenbaum asked.
"Because you undermine everything that he built up last year," said Orlovsky. "Carson Wentz doesn't want the best backup quarterback around him, he wants good players around him."
Tannenbaum and his colleagues said Wentz should welcome the competition. Other great quarterbacks would welcome their team bringing in good backups.
"There's no competition!" Orlovsky exclaimed. "There's no competition between them. There's no competition between Carson Wentz and Nick Foles. The last thing that Howie Roseman should do would be bring back Nick Foles, because that city still beloves Nick Foles. He throws a pick, Carson Wentz throws a pick, you're gonna hear, 'Booooo and play Nick Foles' and what not and all of the sudden you've got an issue. Don't bring potential issues into your locker room."
Point, Orlovsky.
