One more year!

Well, according to Chris Mortensen, Darren Sproles has mentioned to the Eagles that he is "seriously" considering playing another season.

Darren Sproles, 35, is playing his first playoff game today as an @Eagles player but what was supposed to be his final season may not be final. He has mentioned to teammates and staff he seriously could want another year in NFL. Eagles are 4-1 since he returned from injury.

Sproles, 35, wrote that this would be his final season before it began back in July. Sproles missed 10 games this season with a hamstring injury, but since returning, the team is 4-1.

In his first playoff game with the Eagles on Sunday vs. the Bears, Sproles carried 13 times for 21 yards and caught two passes for 14 more, while also handling punt return duties. In Week 16 against the Texans, Sproles recording 108 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown.

Sproles is set to be a free agent this offseason, the same position he was in last summer when the Eagles signed him to a one-year deal worth an affordable $1.4 million. If Sproles is indeed interested in returning, it's safe to assume the Eagles would be happy to bring him back for less than $1.5 million again.
