Nelson Agholor had one of the more polarizing performances you'll see from an NFL player. Agholor, who played the role of No. 1 WR with Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson both out with injuries, caught eight of 11 targets for 107 yards and a touchdown. But he also dropped a few key passes, including a potential game winning late in the fourth quarter
However, after that aforementioned drop, Agholor came back and made a massive catch on a 4th-and-14 to keep the Eagles alive.

Doug Pederson, who addressed the media on Monday afternoon after his team's tough 24-20 loss at the Falcons on Sunday night, defended the 26-year-old wide receiver.

"I talked to Nelson after the game, just before we got on the bus to go to the airport," Pederson said. "One, I thought he played really well, really well. He played basically two spots having to move around. It just shows his mental capacity with the offense and where he is. He made some outstanding catches yesterday as well. And I told him after the game, I said, 'One play is not going to define him or our season. It's Week 2 in the National Football League. We've got a bunch of football left and he's a great player for us.' And I told just to keep his head up, keep working and we're going to find more ways to win these games than lose them in the future."

Pederson admits the catch Agholor made after the huge drop shows his maturity in year four.

After the game, Agholor was asked if he lost the ball in the lights. While he said yes, he wasn't making any excuses for himself.

"Yeah, but I still gotta make that play," Agholor said. "It's something that we prepare for in pre-game, we were trying to track it...I gotta find a way to catch it all."

As far as the injuries go, Pederson said he doesn't have any updates at this moment. His medical meeting is set for 4pm on Monday.
