Darren Sproles spent three seasons in New Orleans playing with Drew Brees, including a 2013 playoff win over Nick Foles, Chip Kelly, and the Eagles at the Linc.

Brees, 39, has a ton of respect for the 35-year-old all-purpose back.
Drew Brees on former Saints' and current Eagles' RB Darren Sproles: "He's my guy man. He'll always be my guy. He's a stud. One of the greatest teammates I've ever had the chance to play with. I've said it before, I think he's a once in a lifetime player."
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) January 10, 2019Sproles had a key kickoff return to set up a game-winning field-goal in that 2013 playoff win over the Eagles. He missed just four games in his three years with the Saints, and has the best season of his career in 2011—his first in New Orleans—totaling an NFL record 2,696 all-purpose yards and 10 total touchdowns.
Brees—a 12-time Pro Bowler, first-team All-Pro player, seven-time NFL passing yards leader, Super Bowl MVP and champion—is certainly on his way to the Hall Of Fame.
Hopefully, Sproles—a three-time Pro Bowler, two-time All-Pro, and the No. 6 all-time leader in all-purpose yards—will be joining him.
