Pederson also said there will be two days of scrimmages, which is the same thing the Eagles have done over the last couple of years.

The news that Pederson tested positive was announced on Sunday, August 2nd.

"I think one of the things I've learned this offseason is, I can still run the team virtually," Pederson said on August 3rd.

"I am very comfortable and confident that the protocols we have in place at NovaCare are for the best interest of the team and for those who enter the building."

The policy to return to the NovaCare Complex included two negative tests, at least 24-hours apart, within five days. Or, a return 10 days from his initial positive test.

Pederson, 52, is 38-26 in the regular season and 4-2 in the postseason as head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles over the last four seasons, winning the Super Bowl in 2017-18.
