Harold Carmichael selected to Hall Of Fame

The long-time Eagles WR Harold Carmichael is headed to the Pro Football Hall Of Fame!

Carmichael, 70, played for the Eagles from  1971-1983. Carmichael is the Eagles' all-time leader in receptions (589), receiving yards (8,978), and touchdowns (79). Carmichael was a 7th round pick in 1971 out of Souther University.

Our own Ike Reese tweeted how happy he is for Carmichael, someone who Reese considers a mentor.

"Angelo, I am so happy this morning," Eagles play-by-play radio announcer Merrill Reese told Angelo Cataldi on Wednesday morning. "Words do not describe my feeling. At long last, Harold Carmichael has been named to the Hall Of Fame. This is so long overdue. Every Eagles fan right now, just had a great toast and rejoiced."
