Eagles DL Barnett, Hargrave to miss significant time

Eagles Training Camp is officially underway, as it began this morning at 10:00am. But unfortunately, with Training Camp comes injuries and before the Eagles even kicked things off, they announced some signficiant injuries.

Most notably, two key defensive lineman in Derek Barnett and Javon Hargrave are expected to miss time. Barnett is listed with "week to week" with a lower body injury and Hargrave has an upper body injury, expect to miss multiple weeks.

WR J.J. Arcega-Whiteside (lower body) - day to day.
DL Derek Barnett (lower body) - week to week.
DL Javon Hargrave (upper body) - multiple weeks.
LB Duke Riley - illness

 

Hargrave, 27, was one of the Eagles' big offseason acquisitions, as they signed the former Steelers defensive tackle to a lucrative three-year, $39 million deal. 

Barnett, 24, is entering his fourth season with the Birds after being the team's 14th overall pick in 2017. Barnett had a solid 6.5 sacks in 14 games last season after struggling with injuries in 2018.
