Vinny Curry is coming back to Philadelphia.

The 30-year-old defensive end from Neptune, New Jersey is nearing a deal with the Eagles, according to Zach Berman. Curry's deal is reportedly a one-year deal worth $2.5 million, with the ability to earn an addition $1.25 million in incentives.
Curry, a second-round pick in 2012 of the Eagles, spent his first six seasons with Philly, culminating in a Super Bowl LII win to cap the 2017-18 season. In March of 2018, Curry signed a three-year deal with the Bucs worth $23 million, but was released this offseason after recording just 2.5 sacks in 12 games. Throughout last season, however, Curry dealt with a high ankle sprain and may have tried to return too soon

Curry's best season came in 2014 when he recorded 9.0 sacks and four forced fumbles.

With Curry back, the Eagles' 2019 defensive line will look like: Curry, Brandon Graham, Derek Barnett, Fletcher Cox, Malik Johnson, and 2018 fourth-round pick Josh Sweat. The Eagles and Chris Long still have not made a decision about 2019, yet.
